’90 Day Fiancé’: Russ Mayfield Shares Eventful Moments From January – ‘Great Company, Incredible Views, and Muchas Memories’
One of the most popular couples in 90 Day Fiancé history includes Russ and Paola Mayfield. The dynamic duo was in season 1 of the original 90 Day Fiancé, and they’ve since made appearances in a number of shows in the franchise. They’ve become household names to many fans who can’t wait to see what they are up to on a regular basis.
Russ recently shared awesome and eventful memories from January with his fans that include his little family. We have all the details you need to know.
How did Russ and Paola Mayfield meet?
Russ and Paola met while Russ was working in Colombia as an engineer in the oil industry. He was invited to a party, where he met Paola, who lived in Colombia at the time. They eventually settled in Oklahoma together, where Russ is originally from, and they were married in 2013. Paola eventually made the choice to move to Miami to pursue a career in modeling. Russ followed her over, and they even had a son together named Axel in 2019.

Russ recently shared some interesting photos and videos of his time spent with family in Oklahoma and Colorado over the last month. The first image is a collage of photos from Axel’s birthday party that included a Ninja Turtle theme. There’s a table set up with cupcakes and a Ninja Turtle cake with “Axel 2” written on it. There’s a bounce house in the same theme as well, so you know Axel’s birthday was epic. Finally, we see Russ’ mother adding the finishing touches to the cake. In the video that comes next, Paola helps her son down a bounce slide where his dad waits for him. His parents laugh, and it looks like the birthday was a fun time.
The next video is Axel playing in the snow that falls all around him while he’s bundled up in a thick coat. There is also an image of Russ holding Axel behind a rocky landscape. Next up is a video of Russ amidst a backdrop of snow and trees giving a “shoutout” to his wife.
There’s also a video of Russ snowboarding down the mountain. The camera is aimed at his feet in the snow, but it’s obvious what’s going on. There’s another video of Russ explaining that he’s hiked as “far” and as “high” as he is allowed to hike based on a sign that can be seen. He also shares a beautiful white landscape of snowy mountains and trees, showing which direction he’s headed toward as well as where he hiked from with a 360 degree view of the scenery, and it’s a real sight.
There’s even an image of Russ smiling for the camera on some steps, as well as a family picture of Russ, Paola, and their son posing by an enormous rock formation.
Russ captioned the post on Instagram: “I’m a day late since it’s February 1st, BUT this is my January!
“Axel was spoiled by Grammy with a Ninja Turtle 2nd birthday party! The big cake (pan) is actually from my 5th birthday. We had such a fun day celebrating Ax’s birthday with my family in Oklahoma.
“Soon after, the three of us then kept going west for some Colorado fun! Axel had a blast playing in the snow, but I think I enjoyed it the most snowboarding at Keystone!
“I’m so grateful to be spending such an amazing time with my family! Great company, incredible views, and muchas memories!”
