‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9: Biniyam’s Sister Throws Wine in Ariela’s Face in New Trailer
Ariela “Ari” Weinberg and Biniyam “Bini” Shibre are returning to 90 Day Fiancé on the upcoming season 9. The trailer teases some major drama between Biniyam’s sisters, Mimi and Wish. Ariela is left stunned after Wish throws wine in her face.
Biniyam and Ariela continue their journey on ’90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9
When we last saw them on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3, Ariela and Biniyam struggled with their relationship. Trust issues became too much after Ariela went to the U.S. alone when Avi needed surgery.
When the couple lived in Kenya, trying to fix their relationship, fans may recall Biniyam returned to Ethiopia for his K-1 visa interview. On the tell-all for season 3, the couple happily revealed that Biniyam’s K-1 visa was approved, and they planned to move to the U.S.
In the teaser for 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, Ariela, Biniyam, and their son, Avi, make it to the U.S. as a family. Ariela says, “We just arrived in JFK [airport].” Biniyam says, “Finally, I’m here in New York. New world for me.”
Biniyam’s sister Wish throws wine in Ariela’s face in the new trailer
Ariela and Biniyam sit down with Biniyam’s sisters in the first look trailer. Wish tells Ariela, “We treat you like a sister.” Check out the first-look trailer below:
Ariela tells her future sisters-in-law, “You don’t treat me like a sister.” Wish tells the cameras, “She don’t [sic] respect us. She don’t respect him. And I think she’s psycho.”
Ariela says, “I’m not going to marry you guys. I’m marrying Bini.” That’s when Wish throws a full glass of wine in Ariela’s face before storming off.
Why are Biniyam’s sisters and Ariela fighting?
Fans recall that Ariela and Biniyam’s sisters often butted heads on many ideas. On The Other Way Season 3, Biniyam’s sisters disagreed with Ariela’s parenting decisions, the way she treated Biniyam, and the fact that she invited her ex to stay with them.
When Ariela was in the U.S., Wish told her that Biniyam was seen around town with multiple women. This caused Biniyam and Ariela’s relationship to nearly collapse. However, Biniyam reassured Ariela that it never happened.
It appears that the final straw in their relationship happened during the tell-all reunion when Ariela called out Biniyam’s sisters for sabotaging her relationship.
She told Biniyam’s sisters, “I never ever, ever want to speak to either of you again. You are not my family. I do not want you in my life.”
It will be interesting to see what happens between Ariela and Biniyam’s sisters that end with wine in the face. 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 premieres on Saturday, April 17, at 8 p.m. EST on TLC and discovery+.
