‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9: Mohamed’s Mommy Issues Are on Full Display in New Preview
90 Day Fiancé Season 9 star, Mohamed Abdelhamed is finally in the United States with his fiancé, Yvette ‘Yve’ Arellano. In the new preview, the 25-year-old says his perfect woman does all the same things his mother does. Yve already explained that she’s not interested in babying her husband. Will Mohamed’s mommy issues ruin their chances at love?
Mohamed’s ‘perfect woman’ is like a mom to him
In the clip for the upcoming May 1 episode of 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, Mohamed is in New Mexico with his 48-year-old fiancée, Yve. In the preview (via People), he explains what he’s looking for in a woman. He says, “My perfect woman in my imagination is the woman [who] will love me as my mother.”
Mohamed elaborated on what that meant. He says, “Someone prepare everything for you to make your life easier. That’s what I was looking for.”
Mohamed believes that Yve is that woman who can be that for him. He said, “Yve makes me feel good, you know? Like she’s older, she’s mature, and she taking care of me.”
Yve has her hands full with her son
In the preview, Mohamed gets upset when he finds out that Yve forgot to install the bidet. However, as fans know, Yve has a very demanding schedule, including caring full time for her son. As discussed in the April 24 episode, Yve is a mother to a 12-year-old special needs child, Tharan.
“My son, Tharan, is 12 years old. He has autism, Down Syndrome, and Stage II kidney disease,” Yve revealed.
Yve called being a single mother “very demanding and stressful and scary”. She explained that due to her son’s medical needs, she must help catheterize him every 3 hours. She said, “Being a single mommy. I have so much on my plate.”
Will Mohamed’s demanding nature become too much for Yve?
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans are convinced that this should be a major red flag to Yve. In a clip on the official 90 Day Fiancé Instagram, Mohamed and Yve prepare breakfast. She gives Mohamed all of the things he needs to make himself eggs, but he’s not keen on cooking. Check out the clip below:
He said, “Yve made me frustrated because I expected her to cook for me because my mom, she usually cooks for me. I expect Yve to do the same.”
With the 23-year age difference, fans already foresee Mohamed’s mommy issues and demanding nature becoming too much for Yve. He said in the clip, “Yve needs to make sacrifices as well for me. And if she doesn’t, I think that’s may going to ruin our relationship [sic].”
Fans will have to tune in to find out more about this new couple. Will they be able to get over their cultural and age differences?
