Who Are Kobe and Emily?
29-year-old Emily met 34-year-old Kobe at a nightclub in Xi’an, China, when she was teaching English. Their whirlwind romance went from a one-night stand to an engagement. Soon after, Emily found out she was pregnant with Kobe’s baby.
After Emily returned home to Salina, Kansas, they eagerly awaited Kobe’s visa approval. However, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic slowing down the process, Kobe and Emily have been apart for over two years.
Due to the delay, Kobe ended up not being able to be with Emily during the birth of their son, Koben. In fact, this will be the first time Kobe will be meeting his son. Kobe is ready to reunite with Emily, meet his son Koben, and become a family. Will the connection still be there for the couple?

What to expect based on ’90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9
In the 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 trailer, Kobe and Emily are reunited at the airport, and the drama starts immediately. Emily tells the cameras, “He looks so good. So good.” However, he tells the cameras, “She’s changed. She’s gained weight, but it’s not about how she looks.” Check out the official trailer below:
Despite the comments about weight, Kobe and Emily’s physical attraction is strong. Emily’s father warns her not to get pregnant again. He tells her, “One thing’s for sure, you better not get pregnant.” The trailer cuts to Kobe and Emily kissing on her bed.
In the next scene, Emily opens a pregnancy test package, saying, “I can’t believe we’re doing the pregnancy test right now.” And based on Kobe’s “Oh my God” reaction, it appears that Emily didn’t heed her father’s warning.
