‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9 Spoilers: Shaeeda Arrives in America — What Has Bilal Been Hiding From Her?
In a sneak peek clip for the upcoming April 24 episode of 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, Bilal picks up Shaeeda from the airport. However, it appears that Bilal’s prank may backfire. What has Bilal been hiding from her?
Bilal plans to ‘prank’ Shaeeda
During the April 17 episode of 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, audiences are introduced to successful real estate investor and agent, Bilal for the first time. His yoga instructor fiancée, Shaeeda, is leaving her parents’ house in Trinidad and Tobago to start her life over in Kansas City, Mo. with Bilal. She has no idea what to expect, as he didn’t let her see the car he drives or the home he lives in. He wanted to make sure that she was not only with him for just financial gain.
Just ahead of Shaeeda’s arrival, Bilal decides that he will put his fiancée to the test. He reveals his plan to pick her up from the airport in an old work van instead of his Mercedes. Then he will bring her to his rundown childhood home instead of his real home for the first night. The idea of the “prank” is to find out Shaeeda’s true intentions and see if he would love him despite the money.
Bilal explains to the cameras, “I’m putting Shae to the test a little bit because I’m a prankster. I love pranks. And I love just making people laugh, so I wanted to see if I can get a rise out of her. But two, I want to make sure that Shaeeda truly wants me for me and not for what I have.”
Shaeeda arrives in America
In a preview clip for the upcoming episode 2 of 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, Bilal waits at the airport for Shaeeda’s arrival. He says in the clip, “Shae and I, we’ve only spent seven days together physically when I went to Trinidad.” He explained, “Now, after almost two years apart, she’s about to live with me, and we’re going to get married. Sounds a little weird.” Check out the clip below:
Despite their unusual love story, Bilal cannot wait for his future wife to arrive in the United States. He tells the cameras that many prayers and tears have led up to this moment. When Shaeeda sees Bilal, she drops her luggage, and they embrace. She says, “Finally.” When Bilal asks her how she feels to be in the US, she says she feels “overwhelmed.”
Shaeeda calls out Bilal for hiding parts of his life from her
In an interview with the producers outside of the airport, Shaeeda talks more about her feelings. She says, “[I am] so excited to come here. It’s been like a dream come true. It’s finally, it’s finally here.”
She continues, “I just want to just get to know him all over again, to be quite honest. And just get more acquainted with one another.” Shaeeda expresses that she’s excited to see what Bilal has hidden from her. She says, “I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of things, you know, he’s has been hiding from me. Let’s be real. So I’m looking forward to going home. Seeing his house, seeing his car.”
Perhaps Bilal is second-guessing his “prank” now that he realizes that she’s here. Either way, it will be an interesting season of 90 Day Fiancé.
