On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio have quickly become fan favorites in a short amount of time. They have a bright future together, and it’s clear to many who watch segments with the happy couple. In a new sneak peek of the upcoming episode, Kenneth will finally be proposing to Armando.
Kenneth Niedermeier moves to Mexico to be with Armando Rubio
Kenneth is from St. Petersburg, Florida, and he up and leaves everything he’s ever known to drive to Mexico with his dog, Truffles, to start a life with Armando. He arrives in Mexico to see his new apartment and reunite with his love. They finally embrace, and it’s a wonderful and heart-warming moment.
The long-awaited reunion couldn’t have been better, and Armando tells Kenneth, “You made my dreams come true.” Armando cooked a nice spread for Kenneth after his tumultuous journey, and they start to plan out their lives together in Mexico.
Kenneth has a rocky start in Mexico so far
Kenneth realizes right away that things are different in Mexico. Armando reveals that the water heater was off, but at least it’s now back on. They’re unclear how long the hot water will last, but they’ll certainly find out soon.
Kenneth also mentions to the cameras that he already notices some differences about their new apartment. It’s lacking central heat and air conditioning. It’s also pretty far from the nearest bank, which is 40 minutes away.
Kenneth and Armando finally venture out to explore their new surroundings, since Armando also moved to a new part of Mexico to start a life with Kenneth. When they go to a convenient store, that Kenneth says looks like a garage, Armando attempts to explain the currency and how it converts from American currency. It’s clear Kenneth has some adjusting to do.
“I never thought about it when I was moving to Mexico that I would be so dependent on Armando to just function. If I wanted to buy something, I don’t even know how the currency works. I probably should have studied up more,” Kenneth says to the cameras.
Kenneth proposes to Armando
Despite the rocky start, Kenneth appears to be happy with Armando. In a preview for the upcoming episode, Kenneth reunites with some of his children and discusses his impending plans to propose to Armando.
“Today is the day I’m proposing to Armando,” Kenneth says. One of his daughters asks him if he’s concerned it all may be too soon, considering they just moved to a new place.
However, Kenneth knows what he and Armando have is real, and he could be starting this new chapter with a fiancé very soon. “I feel it’s right,” Kenneth explains.
In the next scene, Kenneth is on one knee holding a ring up for Armando. There is a beautiful beach behind them, and the moment couldn’t be more perfect. Armando wipes his forehead. What will he say in response? The clip cuts short in a tease for fans, so it’s unclear what the verdict is at this rate.
Fans are hoping that Kenneth and Armando get engaged. We’ll hopefully see how it all plays out in the upcoming episode next week.
