37-year-old yoga instructor, Shaeeda slid into 42-year-old real estate investor Bilal’s DMs. After some online flirtation, the divorced father of two decided to try his luck and flew to Trinidad to meet Shaeeda.
During Bilal’s one-week trip to Trinidad, he proposed to Shaeeda. Almost two years later, the couple is finally together again after the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused a significant delay in Shaeeda’s K-1 visa.
Shaeeda packed up her life in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Kansas City, Mo, to be with Bilal in the hopes of getting married and starting their own family. The couple has 90 days to get married, or Shaeeda will have to return to her home country.
However, it appears that they could already be married. Bilal and Shaeeda had their Nikah ceremony during their week-long trip to Trinidad.
He explained to the cameras, “There are a couple of things within our religion that we do not do. Like, we don’t have sexual relationships before we get married. So, Shaeeda and I thought that it would be best to have a Nikah.” While the Nikah ceremony is considered a legal marriage in many other countries, it is not recognized as a real marriage in the United States.

Before Shaeeda’s arrival, Bilal was worried that she was only with him for his money and decided to play put her to the test with a “prank.” He wanted to see how she would react if he didn’t have any of his money.
In the trailer for 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, Bilal asks Shaeeda if she would sign a prenuptial agreement, which leads to a major disagreement. The couple also doesn’t see eye to eye on many things, including whether or not they want to have more children.

The outlet reveals some details about the couple’s wedding. The marriage license indicates Shaeeda and Bilal married in Lees Summit, Missouri, on December 18, 2021. The records show that they obtained a marriage license in Jackson County on December 7.
