‘90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Fans Are Obsessed With How Alina’s Mom, Anna Stands Up to Steven
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans love how Alina’s mom, Anna, stands up for her daughter by calling out Steven’s hypocrisy. Anna takes no prisoners against Steven’s excuses and lies.
Steven comes clean to Alina about his sexual past
Steven takes Alina out for a wine-tasting date on the October 3rd episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. They both agree not to drink the wine, as it goes against the practices of Steven’s faith in the Church of Latter-Day Saints. However, despite abstaining from drinking the wine, Steven failed the LDS church by lying to Alina about his past.
He finally came clean to Alina about his sexual history. Steven claimed that he “made out” with at least a hundred women, was “more intimate” with “two dozen,” and of those, he slept with “four or five” of them. Alina was shocked by this confession, especially since she’s been devoutly following the standards of the Mormon church in the hopes of converting to Mormonism for Steven.
Alina’s mom, Anna, points out Steven’s hypocrisy
During the October 17th episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way (on discovery+), Steven continues to try to get Alina’s mom, Anna’s blessing for the marriage. However, he didn’t realize that Alina had told her mother about Steven’s lies and hypocrisy. When he tries to get Anna to convert, Alina tells her mom, “I can’t even drink coffee, but Steven can break the commandment of chastity.”
Anna calls out Steven, asking him, “So, you pick what you feel like believing in?” Steven says that he doesn’t just pick and choose which Mormon commandments he follows but that everyone has a “weak side.” Anna calls him out, “So, it’s looking like you can live without coffee, but not without sex?” This left a usually quick on his feet Steven, speechless for once.
’90 Day Fiancé’ fans are loving Alina’s mom, Anna
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans have gone to Reddit to sing their praises of Alina’s mother, Anna. One fan wrote, “Anna is a bad—! I love how she stands up for her daughter.”
Another fan agreed, “Diggin Anna’s style this last episode. Total straight shooter; the awkwardness does not seem to deter her in the least from standing up for her daughter.” In another comment, another user wrote, “I love Anna! She defends her daughter and calls SteVen out on his sh—! Now, THIS is what I think is a great 90 Day Fiancé mom.”
90 Day Fiancé fans can’t get enough of Anna and her straight-shooting style. Right now, Steven’s lies, cheating, and hypocrisy have made him this season’s villain. It seems that the majority of fans are begging Alina to listen to her mom and return to Russia. Fans will have to keep watching 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3 to see what will happen between Alina and Steven.
