Michael Ilesenami of 90 Day Fiancé isn’t going to spend any more time explaining his relationship with estranged wife Angela Deem

The TLC star, who is currently locked in a nasty legal battle with his ex, recently responded a fan’s question about why he hasn’t been posting photos of Angela on this social media. His response? Look it up.

On Sept. 15, Michael took to Instagram to share an inspirational message with his followers amidst his divorce battle with Angela Deem

“Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. Happy Sunday!” #keepsmiling #positivity,” he wrote.

He received plenty of supportive message in response to his post, including fellow 90 Day Fiancé cast members Kobe Blaise and Colt Johnson. But one fan apparently hadn’t been keeping up with the latest news related to his split from Angela, who has accused Michael of scamming her into a marriage to get a green card.

“Why you not posting your wife Angela?” the person asked.

“Ask Google,” Michael replied.

‘90 Day Fiance’: Michael Ilesanmi Accuses Angela Deem of Abuse, Asks for Spousal Support in Divorce Filing

Michael’s years-long relationship with Angela came to an end earlier this year, not long after he finally arrived in the U.S. from Nigeria in December 2023. He fled her home in Georgia in February 2024. In June, she filed for an annulment, claiming Michael “fraudulently” induced her into marriage “for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status in the United States,” according to court documents viewed by Showbiz Cheat Sheet. He responded by requesting a divorce.

In his filing, Michael claimed that Angela had abused him. To cover the legal expenses associated with the divorce/annulment case, he also started a GoFundMe. A month later, he closed the fundraiser, which netted $52,000 – more than double his initial $25,000 goal.

In a video shared on Instagram on Sept. 11, Michael said he appreciated “each and every” person who contributed to the GoFundMe.

“I want to say, thank you, thank you so much. God bless you all,” he said. “Thank you guys for supporting me in this legal battle.”

Angela responded to her ex’s pleas for financial assistance with an outraged video posted to TikTok on August 15

“Did you see Michael made his goal? What is wrong with you, United States of America?!” she said. “I am totally ashamed right now. Who makes a GoFundMe, makes $25,000 for legal fees when we have people out there who have sick kids, sick moms or veterans out there who don’t even get $25,000. Wake up, America! This is unacceptable.”
