’90 Day Fiancé’: Steven ‘Offended’ By Alina’s Test
90 Day Fiancé star Alina set a trap for Steven, and he sprung it. Alina had some trust issues with Steven from the start, thanks to his request to date other people while they were long-distance. As a result, she asked her friend to bait Steven by flirting with him, eager to see if he’d follow up. Now, Steven has found himself caught red-handed by Alina, who revealed her plot during a recent episode.

90 Day Fiancé star Alina had some trust issues with Steven from the beginning of their relationship. Steven asked Alina if he could date other women — something that hurt Alina’s feelings and left her uncomfortable when it came to Steven’s closeness with other women.
“When Steven asked me if he could date other girls, I just burst into tears because he’s in relationship with me and he have to pay attention only on me,” she told producers.
So, Alina decided to put Steven to the test. She asked her friend Masha to private message Steven on social media, and to act a little flirty, in order to see how Steven would react.
“Well, I would like for you to flirt with him on chat with expectations to talk more intimately,” she told Masha.
“I’m asking Masha for help because she’s the only friend of mine that Steven don’t know about. And she’s very attractive so she’s a good bait, and Steven is a fish,” she explained to producers.
Masha asked what Alina would do if Steven does wind up flirting back with her.
“That would probably be the last straw,” Alina replied. “If he doesn’t pass this test, my heart will be broken. I don’t know what I’m going to do after that.”

Now, Alina is revealing to Steven that he’s stepped into her trap — and it seems as if he failed, at least partially. The 90 Day Fiancé star told Steven about the situation during a chat in the park.
Alina started out by asking if anyone texted him, perhaps a Russian woman. It soon became clear that Steven had not told Alina about receiving messages from Masha at all. Additionally, he hadn’t told her that he’d replied. In fact, he’d asked Masha if she had a bathing suit, suggesting that she visit Turkey.
“I put you on a test with my friend and I asked her to flirt with you. Just to make sure that you not going to cheat on me,” Alina told Steven.
“So you don’t trust me and you had, you tried to get one of your friends…you sent her?” Steven asked, knowing he’d been caught out.
“Yes, and you didn’t tell me about her. Which means you lied again,” Alina replied.
“It’s offensive that you don’t trust me enough that you would try to set me up and set me up for failure,” Steven said, despite the fact that he’d been lying to Alina about his sexuality and faithfulness for the majority of their relationship.
Alina wound up telling Steven that he needs to delete his social media. Steven told producers that he felt as if this was coming from a place of insecurity, without acknowledging that he himself was the source of this insecurity.
