’90 Day Fiancé: Strikes Back’: This Controversial Cast Member Was Left Out of the New Spin-Off
90 Day Fiancé is like the gift that keeps on giving. Just when one season comes to a close, there is another right around the corner. The consistency and number of spin-offs that the franchise has produced rivals that of The Real Housewives and The Bachelor. Even when most production teams had to shut down due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, 90 Day Fiancé was able to come out with a whole new show, 90 Day Fiancé: Self Quarantined. And now, they have done it yet again with their show, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Strikes Back.

What is 90 Day Fiancé strikes back?
The new show has not yet officially been announced but is currently filming, a source within production told Soap Dirt. The show will be similar to Self-Quarantined in the sense that the cast is filming themselves. According to the insider, production sent iPhone 11s and iPads to the cast to record themselves. This new show will allow cast members to address certain rumors that are being spread about them.
The show is expected to begin airing in the fall.
Who is on the show?
Right now, it has been confirmed that Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Tom Brooks will be on the show. Both cast members have been controversial for separate reasons. Brooks has run into trouble because he has been on multiple seasons of the show, making fans wonder if he has really been in it for love or just fame. Hamme, on the other hand, has made much more egregious errors. She was caught using homophobic language on Instagram and then admitted to calling her Nigerian husband Usman Umar the n-word. But she still has not been kicked out of the franchise.

Who was left off of the show?
Even though TLC makes exceptions for certain things, they seem to be done with Geoffrey Paschel. He did not film the reunion special with the rest of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast even though he had quite a dramatic storyline this season.
Why wasn’t Geoffrey Paschel asked to be on the spinoff?
Paschel has a number of charges against him. His most recent incident with his ex resulted in charges of kidnapping, domestic assault, vandalism, and interference with emergency calls.
“He repeatedly bashed/slammed my head into the hardwood floors of my home,” his ex alleged in her request for an order of protection, according to Knox News.
“He dragged me through the house by my hair and continued throwing my body into walls and furniture,” she continued. “I know this because of blood on my walls, furniture, etc.”
Fans were so outraged by this information that they created a petition to get Paschel removed from the show.
“Geoffrey Paschel is on the currently airing TLC show 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days,” the petition begins. “This petition is to remove him from the show and have him appear on no further shows due to current allegations and criminal charges made against him. We would also like to make advertisers aware of what they are supporting and hope to see that your companies will not stand for promoting such atrocities as these.
“He has been accused of kidnapping, abuse, rape, child endangerment, dealing drugs, felony larceny, theft, and battery,” the letter continues. “He is barred from ever entering Canada.”
Though Paschel was not removed from his season of Before the 90 Days, maybe TLC actually listened to fans and barred him from coming back for spin-offs.
