’90 Day Fiancé’: Syngin Colchester Calls Out Fellow Cast Members For Being ‘Rude and Condescending’—’You Are Not a Movie Star’

Syngin Colchester and Tania Maduro might have a love-hate relationship with TLC producers and 90 Day Fiancé fans alike, but they’ve always shown their support for the production crew.

Tania (a 30-year-old from Colchester, CT) and Syngin (a 30-year-old from Cape Town, South Africa) first appeared on the seventh season of 90 Day Fiancé. Now, the newlyweds are appearing on the fifth season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, which was filmed around five months after their wedding.

Before the season began, Tania called herself a “glutton for punishment” for signing up for the reality TV show a second time. The 90 Day Fiancé couple also recently shared that they didn’t allow TLC to film their joint bachelor/ette party the night before their wedding.

But recently, Syngin took to Instagram to share some love for the 90 Day Fiancé crew—and to call out some of his castmates who might not be quite as respectful.

Both Syngin and Tania have shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos of themselves with the 90 Day Fiancé cast and crew. Recently, Syngin shared a picture of himself smiling alongside various crew members as they enjoyed a meal together.

Reflecting on the process of filming, Syngin shared some support for the TLC production crew. But, he implied, not all the cast members were so welcoming and warm.

“The family the crew the people that make it all happen,” Syngin captioned the photo. “I always got along well with everybody but I have heard some 90 Day Fiancé cast members are very rude and condescending.”

Calling his allegedly “rude” castmates out, Syngin asked them to adopt a little more humility. “All I have to say to you is you are not @chucknorris, you are not a movie star,” he wrote. “We didn’t work our whole lives to be on 90 Day Fiancé hahaha we just lucky..so stop thinking the sun comes out of your a**.”

’90 Day Fiancé’ fans wanted to know which cast members he was referring to

Naturally, many 90 Day Fiancé fans were immediately curious about which cast members Tania’s husband was referring to. But Syngin made it clear that he had to stay tight-lipped about his inside information.

“Which cast members are being rude to the crew?” one wondering fan wanted to know.

“I could never say,” Syngin replied.

Another 90 Day Fiancé viewer wondered, “Now I wonder which cast members are being a**holes?!”

Syngin replied vaguely once again, “Hahahaha you might know them.”

But he certainly seemed to have plenty of inside information.

“Ooh I feel like you got the tea from the crew on who was the worst!! Wish you could say!” one Instagram user exclaimed.

“We talk,” Syngin agreed, implying he had some juicy details he wasn’t about to share.

Many commenters praised him for being so down-to-earth

A few 90 Day Fiancé viewers tied Syngin’s comments back to his tumultuous relationship with his wife, Tania. Tania and Syngin have often been a controversial couple on the show, so this seemed to come as no surprise to her husband.

“Tania is rude, so this applies to her,” one critic argued.

“Nope, they love her,” Syngin clarified, referring to the TLC crew.

When another viewer tried to argue that Syngin and Tania’s relationship was unhealthy, Syngin insisted, “There is a lot to the backstory.”

Many others simply praised the 90 Day Fiancé star for showing humility, despite his foray into the world of reality TV.

“You are so down to earth – this is why you have so many people who love you on the show – you are just YOU, no big ego,” one fan raved.

Another gushed, “You’re really so down to earth and I think that’s why you are a favorite. Many relate to you.”

Yet another agreed, “That’s right Syngin! Some people are too rude…the crew needs to put them in their place…you must give respect to earn respect!”
