Syngin and Tania have made many memorable appearances in the franchise, including in season 7 of the original 90 Day Fiancé. Since then, they’ve been in season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, as well as in HEA Strikes Back and discovery+ exclusives, including 90 Day Diaries, 90 Day Fiancé: Love Games, 90 Day Bares All, and 90 Day Lovers’ Collection. Plus, they’ll be in a new spinoff on discovery+ called 90 Day: Foody Call, premiering on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
How did Syngin Colchester and Tania Maduro meet?
The couple currently resides in Connecticut together, but how did these two actually meet? It happened in an unusual set of circumstances. Tania flew to South Africa, where Syngin is from, to be with another man that she met on a dating app. The guy was flying to South Africa the following day, and he bought her a ticket. Tania went there, but she said on 90 Day Fiancé, “he was actually not a good guy.”
Tania left and went to a bar, and it’s there that she met Syngin while he was bartending. She went back to his place that night, and she ended up staying with him for almost two months. Syngin then came to the United States on the K-1 visa, and they were married in season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé.

Syngin recently shared an image that includes himself and his wife, and he tagged them in Cape Town, Western Cape. In the image, he tagged himself and his wife, as well as the area behind him as Camps Bay, which is a suburb in Cape Town, South Africa.
In the sweet selfie, Syngin holds the camera as he poses with short hair next to Tania, as she smiles as well. The photo is from years ago, and behind them is the beautiful landscape of South Africa. Mountains can be seen in the distance, and the city is also the backdrop behind them. They appear to be on rocks as they pose for the shot with a blue sky above.
In the post on Instagram, Syngin writes, “Oooo,” while tagging the City of Cape Town. “I miss you,” he continues. “Amazing beaches, mountains, people, art, culture and so many more. This was almost 3 years ago. Have you ever been to South Africa??”
