On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Syngin Colchester and his wife, Tania Maduro, are back in South Africa. After Syngin’s brother, Dylan, lands in the hospital with a blood clot, Syngin and Tania make the trek to the other side of the world to see him. While in South Africa, the couple has already had one explosive fight in front of Syngin’s family. Fresh from that argument, the two set out to have a fun evening with Syngin’s two good friends, Andrew and James. During their conversation, Andrew admits that he didn’t think things were going to “work out” when he first met Tania.

In an exclusive clip through Entertainment Tonight of the upcoming episode, Tania and Syngin have some drinks with Andrew and James. Fans have already been introduced to Syngin’s friends in a previous episode where Andrew said Tania moved in “uninvited.”

“You brought Tania home from the bar one night, and then Tania decided to move in…uninvited,” Andrew recalls. When producers ask Andrew how long Tania stayed with them, his reaction is golden. “Two months!” he exclaims while holding up two fingers.

They all hug and sit down as they prepare to drink some Jägerbombs. “Syngin and I need to breathe more and have a little bit more fun,” Tania tells the cameras. “So we’re hanging out with Andrew and James tonight.”

Andrew jokes that it isn’t “one of those keep them coming type of nights.” Syngin says he’s with his wife in a joking manner. “That is crazy,” Andrew replies. “I am shocked to see you. I must admit, when I first met you, I thought to myself, ‘This is not going to work out.’ When you split to America, I even told James, ‘All right. Well that was a crazy story.’”

Tania laughs, and it’s kind of an awkward situation. “I didn’t expect the return flight,” Andrew continues.

There is an awkward pause, and James breaks the silence by asking if they’ve been having fun with Syngin’s family. However, that puts some more tension in the air, considering Syngin and Tania got into a fight in front of Syngin’s family not long ago.

“OK so, I’ll be real,” Tania starts to say. “I got very worked up because nothing’s been stable yet.”

Andrew mentions the way they met. “Isn’t that rush what keeps you guys together?” he asks them. “Like isn’t that what drew you to him?”

Tania mentions “flags” when they first started dating. “Yeah, but also, so many flags back then,” Tania tells them. “Like all these flags that come up now, I’m thinking like, ‘Why did I even stay?’ But it was not a big deal at the time.”

When Andrew and James get their time to talk to producers, Andrew gets real. “I’ll call it denial, he says. “She mentioned the whole time, ‘Red flags, red flags, red flags.’ Which means you saw it. You just chose not to believe it. He was completely honest and blatant with everything. You sold yourself.”

“You’re married now,” James says.

We’ll have to wait and see how the rest of the conversation goes in the upcoming episode.
