’90 Day Fiancé’: Tania Maduro Finally Dishes On Pink Shirt Situation
90 Day Fiancé star Tania Maduro is infamous with fans of the show by now. For the most part, viewers have been majorly turned off by how she treats Syngin Colchester, her South African love. But beyond her behavior towards Colchester, fans have been plagued by another question — why does Maduro seem to always be wearing that bright pink t-shirt? Now, after so much time spent waiting, fans finally have an answer from Maduro herself.
How Tania Maduro has behaved towards Syngin Colchester
Many viewers were shocked when Tania Maduro decided to take a 30-day trip to Costa Rica during Syngin Colchester’s 90-day visa in the U.S. The 90 Day Fiancé star decided to go to Costa Rica for an herbalism retreat, as she planned to study to become a witch doctor.
At the time, Syngin Colchester told Tania Maduro, “I’m literally around everything that is yours. I’m all alone in the backwoods of America, you know…So I am not at all looking forward to staying here by myself. I kind of feel lost and it sucks.”
Things didn’t seem to improve much when she returned from Costa Rica. The two attended a reading by an astrologer to see how compatible they were. When the astrologer asked if they feel like soulmates, Maduro shocked 90 Day Fiancé fans and Colchester alike when she explained that he wasn’t her soulmate — rather, her first love was.
What’s more, Maduro has also shut down Colchester when he tried to discuss the trauma he experienced working in the South African mines. During his tenure in the mines, he saw friends and coworkers experience injury and even death. At the time, Maduro told him that it was “so long ago.”

During many episodes of this season of 90 Day Fiancé, fans have noticed Tania Maduro wearing what now seems to be her trademark pink t-shirt.
Coupled with Maduro’s behavior, the t-shirt has become an object of scorn for many fans of the show. One Reddit user wrote, “OH MY GOD YES!!! I can’t stand that stupid a** worn-out pink shirt. It’s loose and not flattering one bit. I hate it so much. It’s unreasonable but it enrages me every time I see it lol.”
“I donated my pink v neck shirt because of this show. I honestly could never wear it again,” joked another user.
“Maybe she has a closet full of them, like she’s a cartoon character,” added another user.
Suffice it to say, fans are curious about Tania Maduro’s fashion choice when it comes to the pink t-shirt. It’s basically become a character of its own on the show.

Luckily for 90 Day Fiancé fans, Tania Maduro has since addressed the pink t-shirt on Instagram. Unfortunately for fans, there doesn’t seem to be as much mystery behind it as they hoped. In fact, Maduro seemed surprised that it was even much of a focal point.
An Instagram user asked her, “Wait, do you really only wear pink shirts or is it just a weird coincidence you’re always filmed in them?”
Maduro replied, “Lol I really down own that much pink, but I like them on me in the summer, AND – they haven’t shown other scenes with different shirts. I wore a lot of black shirts with political statements and not one made it.”
Sadly, it seems as if there isn’t too much hidden lore behind the fabled pink shirt, but it does seem as if Maduro is just as confused about its frequent appearance as fans are.
