Tarik Myers and his fiancé, Hazel Cagalitan, are back for season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. This time, Hazel will finally make her way to the United States to start a life with Tarik, and she has plans. She has revealed to him that she’s bisexual and wants a girlfriend to join them.
Tarik Myers proposed to Hazel Cagalitan on his first trip to see her in the Philippines
Tarik, who is 46 and from Virginia Beach, VA, joined an Asian dating website, and that’s where he met Hazel, who is 28. They dated online for three months, and then Tarik went to the Philippines to see her in person. On that first trip, Tarik proposed, and Hazel said yes. Now two years later, Hazel is finally coming to the United States on the K-1 visa.
Hazel revealed she’s bisexual and wants a girlfriend
Hazel told Tarik about being bisexual, and he said he was “kind of surprised by it.” Then, she mentioned her desire to have a girlfriend. Tarik admits that it brings up “questions,” but he says he’s “cautiously optimistic” about the whole thing.
“But we’re not even married yet, and what you’re thinking about is, you know, the girlfriend we need to find?” Tarik tells the cameras. “And we’ve had some trust and jealousy issues in the past, so it does make me nervous … I hope that we’re really ready for it.”

Tarik talks to his friend, Kia, revealing that after the couple was engaged for almost a year, they thought Hazel was pregnant. She took some pregnancy tests, and it came back with “one positive and two negative.” But the negative tests were taken a week after they found out, so Tarik thought Hazel might have had an abortion. He was very upset, and broke things off.
Three weeks after their break up, Tarik got back in the dating game, and starting conversing with someone from Thailand named Minty. Tarik spoke with Hazel again, learning she had gone to a clinic and they told her she hadn’t been pregnant. He came clean about talking to Minty, and Hazel’s response was that she wanted to see all the pictures and text messages.
According to Tarik, Hazel said Minty was “beautiful,” and that she might actually “want to talk to her.” The three of them then met up in the Philippines. “Everything was beautiful for two and half days,” Tarik says. But on the third day, he says Hazel “just put an end to it.”
“Hazel felt like Minty was more into me than she was into Hazel,” Tarik tells the cameras. “And Hazel could see I was just fascinated by Minty.”
Tarik says there was “jealousy” on Hazel’s part, and things abruptly ended. Hazel even told Tarik not to contact Minty again. However, he did speak to her via text about the coronavirus (COVID-19). He asked if she was OK, but he has yet to tell Hazel about the conversation.
