Colt Johnson’s mom, Debbie, never really liked his ex-girlfriend, Jess Caroline. And on the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After season-end tell-all, Debbie doubled down on her disdain and said she’d pick Colt’s ex-wife Larissa Lima over Jess a “thousand times” over.

On this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, fans watched Colt fall for Jess, visit her in Brazil, lie to her, and then ask the woman she was jealous of to move in with him. After Jess dumped him, Colt admitted that he wasn’t a “good boyfriend.” And he recognized his pattern of failed relationships.
But throughout the season, viewers also saw his mom interfere in his love life. She was against Jess from the very beginning and continuously suggested the Brazilian nanny was only with Colt to get a green card.
Debbie admittedly tried to sabotage Jess and Colt’s relationship. And she opened a Pandora’s box of mistrust after telling Jess about Colt’s ongoing friendship with Vanessa Guerra. And when Jess eventually found out that Colt was talking to other women, she decided it was time to call it quits.
Debbie had a rocky relationship with Colt’s ex-wife Larissa Lima
As seen on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé, Debbie had a pretty rocky relationship with Colt’s ex-wife, Larissa. The three lived together while Colt was married, and Debbie often ended up in the middle of their fights. After getting Larissa arrested three times for domestic assault, Colt filed for divorce and pulled the plug on her green card application.
In an interview with ET, Debbie revealed that she still trusts Larissa more than Jess. “Because Larissa’s evil, but she’s honestly evil,” she explained. “I trust Larissa because I know her, and I know what she’s about. Jess is a total mystery to me. I just don’t think that Jess is quite right.

In the ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ Tell-All, Debbie says she’d chose Larissa over Jess anyday
Even after seeing how much Colt lied to Jess during the season, Debbie still thinks Jess is worse than Larissa. In a preview for the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Tell All episode, she went as far as to say she’d choose Larissa a “thousand times” over.
“I’m so glad he dumped you,” Debbie tells Jess. “I’d pick Larissa over you a thousand times, every time. A thousand times.”
Jess ends up dragging both Colt and Debbie on the Tell-All, calling them out for their manipulation. And in a recent Instagram post, she addressed Debbie’s insinuation that she was only with Colt for a green card.
“I found this so ridiculous this lady accusing me to be using her son for a green card,” Jess wrote in her Instagram story. “If I was after a green card and not love, I would accept all the cheating games and pictures sent to multiple women [sic] and all [the] gaslighting.”
“But I stand for myself,” she added. “I was looking for true love and respect. She should spend the times she uses to manipulate his life to teach him how to be a better man to women.”
