Ariela and Biniyam are still struggling to adapt to their new life together in Ethiopia. But in a recent episode, when Ariela admitted she goes through Biniyam’s phone, she confirmed that the two are dealing with trust issues as well.
Ariela’s mom warned her to watch out for Biniyam’s female friends on ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’
Earlier this season on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ariela’s mom, Janice, visited Ethiopia to meet Biniyam and to ensure her daughter would be well cared for. During her visit, Biniyam invited Janice to watch him perform at a dance club.
While he took the stage with one of his dancer ex-girlfriends, Janice noted how cute she was. “Better watch out Ari,” Janice told Ariela, as Biniyam’s provocative performance continued. “Especially when he’s dancing at night and you’re home alone.”
Then in a confessional, Ariela revealed why Biniyam was dancing with his ex. And she admitted it bothered her from time to time.
“When I was in the U.S. and far away, Baby and his ex rekindled their friendship, and she’s his current dance partner,” Ariela said.” The idea of them dancing together every night, I don’t know. — I’m definitely a jealous person. I think anyone who says that they’re not jealous is a liar.”
Ariela admits she goes through Biniyam’s phone on ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’
In a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ariela and Biniyam got into a heated discussion about Biniyam being away from home at night. He insisted he was only working, but Ariela confronted him about the messages from girls she found on his phone. She also revealed that she called one of his recent contacts and heard a female voice on the other side.
“I recently started going through his phone because he gets a lot of phone calls from a lot of people, and he has a lot of numbers in his phone,” she told producers. “But he never explains who they are, or what’s going on, as usual.”
“I never used to consider myself a jealous person,” she added. “But Bini really pushes me to the edge sometimes. He’s always trying to portray me as the bad one and kind of a b**ch. But he doesn’t tell me anything. We’re not communicating. We’re more like roommates, with a baby.”
Biniyam’s first marriage ended because of trust issues
As revealed in an early episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Biniyam was married to an American woman before meeting Ariela. The couple met in Ethiopia, got married, and had a son.
But as indicated by Biniyam, his wife divorced him because she found messages on his phone from other women. And when pushed by Janice about the split, he insisted he had done nothing wrong. In a social media post, Biniyam tried to clear the air even further.
“I want to say that I loved my ex-wife and my family,” Biniyam wrote in an Instagram post. “I never cheated on her. I never wanted a divorce. The message on my phone was just a hello from an old friend. It was just a reason she needed to leave. I still don’t understand what happened. Even though I have a new life I am still confused and still hurt. Every day I miss my son. I haven’t seen him for two years. I just want my son. I just need my son.”
