’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’: Jenny Tells Sumit’s Mom ‘I’m Not Going to Leave Your Son Alone’

Jenny and Sumit had a blowout exchange with his parents on this week’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. And when Sumit’s mom demanded that the couple break up, Jenny clapped back and said she would never leave Sumit alone.

The ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ couple has come a long way 

From catfishing to secret marriages, it seems there is nothing Sumit and Jenny’s relationship can’t handle. The two met online in 2011 when Sumit messaged Jenny pretended to be an English man named Michael Jones. 

Since then, Jenny has forgiven her beaux for his initial deceit. And she’s also excused him for keeping his first wife a secret. 

Sumit was pressured into a failed arranged marriage by his parents. And he faced repeated taunts about Jenny’s age from his family and friends. 

But he pushed forward through a lengthy and complicated divorce. And he’s still fighting to be with Jenny.

Sumit’s parents are trying to break them up

Ever since Sumit’s parents, Sahna and Anil, discovered Sumit was dating a woman twice his age, they’ve been hellbent on keeping him away from Jenny. 

“I will never accept Jenny,” Sahna told her son earlier this season on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. “If she was younger, I’d happily have accepted her into my home. Forget her. This is not your life.”

And in a recent episode, when Sumit invited his parents over in the last ditch attempt to get a blessing before his engagement, they doubled down on their disapproval of Jenny. Sahna revealed that she didn’t come to talk. She came to take Sumit away. 

“We didn’t want to come because of Jenny,” Sahna said in a confessional. “We don’t like her. I don’t like him staying with Jenny, never did, and never will.”

And when Sumit announced his plans to get married and asked for his parents’ blessing, Sahna was not having it. “You’ll have to go over our dead bodies,” she said. “The day you get married, remember this, we will be dead.”

Jenny refuses to leave Sumit on ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’

When prepping for his parents’ visit, Sumit asked Jenny to stay calm and support him. “Hold my back, and we will win,” he said. 

So when Sahna looked at Jenny and refused to allow their marriage to happen, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star looked right back at her and calmly suggested she would never leave his side. 

“I love your son,” Jenny told Sahna. “And I’m not leaving him again.”

Sumit’s parents continued to scold him and taunt him about Jenny’s age. In frustration, Sumit knocked items off of his coffee table and got down on his knees to beg his mom to understand the pain he felt. Unable to deal with the drama, Jenny got up and left the room. 

“I cannot do this to this family,” Jenny said. “I need to just go back to America.”
