’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Star Brittany Banks Admits She ‘Felt Stuck’ With Yazan
Brittany Banks is facing numerous relationship challenges with her Jordanian boyfriend, Yazan Abo Horaira, on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. And in a recent interview, the reality star admitted she “felt stuck” with Yazan because of all the sacrifices he made for her.

Yazan and Brittany come from two different worlds. And as seen on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, their clashing cultures created several issues.
For starters, when Yazan’s father, Ziad, found revealing photos on Brittany’s social media, he kicked Yazan out of the house. “I had to stay on the street for two days,” Yazan revealed on the show. “Then I rented an apartment and looked for work. I don’t talk to anyone. I spend time alone. I swear, Mohammed, this has been the most difficult, truly the most difficult time I’ve been through.”
And then, when Yazan insisted he wanted to be with Brittany, his father flatly threatened to kill him. “I want you to get to him and tell him, ‘If you marry her, your father will kill you,’” Ziad told his older son, Obaida. “I’m telling you, and I’m warning you. I swear, tell Yazan if he doesn’t reconsider, I will be his murderer.”

In a recent Instagram post, Brittany cleared the air about her relationship with Yazan. She said that despite their challenges, the couple’s love was always real.
“First, no matter how much Yazan and I are different or how much we fight, it’s clear we have a passionate burning chemistry,” the 90 Day Fiancé wrote. “Only people who love each other fight that hard about being together. I’m hard on the outside because I have a wall up and that’s something Yazan understands. He sees a side of me yall don’t see.”
But Brittany did feel ‘stuck’ with Yazan at one point
When talking to ET, Brittany acknowledged all the sacrifices Yazan has made for her. But she also noted that she often told him not to go so far.
“It’s very heavy, especially when you find out after someone has made all those sacrifices and then told you these are the sacrifices they made, you know, it’s heavy,” Brittany explained. “Because you feel like, now you’re into something that you had no part of getting yourself into, really, because you kept telling this person not to do this, not to do that, and they decided to do it anyway and then told you they did it for you.”
Brittany noted that seeing Yazan make all those sacrifices was “hard to process.” And she said the resulting pressure made her feel “stuck.”
“I just felt stuck,” Brittany said. “I felt very stuck and I felt like, very, the world was kind of crashing down around me because I never want to be in the position where somebody’s life is in danger because of the love that they have for me, and I never want to be in a position where someone is losing everything that they love because of me. I’ll definitely let that person go before it even gets to that point. I want people to be better because of me. I don’t want them to get worse. So, it was a really, really hard situation.”
