’90 Day Fiancé’: Tom Brooks Asked Darcey Silva Not to Mention This Part of His Life on the Show (And She Didn’t)

90 Day Fiancé fans watched Tom Brooks and Darcey Silva fight and fall apart until their relationship was unsalvagable. Today, they’re not together. They don’t even speak. Tom says it’s because everything is still so fresh since having to re-live their breakup via the show.

“Until all of this blows over, you’re still living in the story. It happened so long ago and you’re having to relive it and you can’t really detract from that. Yeah, I don’t know. She’ll always be my friend,” he said in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on May 29.

Darcey Silva kept this secret for Tom Brooks on ’90 Day Fiancé’

Though Tom and Darcey didn’t end on the best of terms, there is one thing Tom would like to thank his ex for. He asked her to refrain from bringing up one area of his life, his daughter, on the show. And she did.

“I was with someone for eight years. I have a daughter with her. That’s one thing I’ll thank Darcey for. I said I don’t want her brought up in the show, which she didn’t. They live in Switzerland. I didn’t even want that involved in the show. So, yeah, I’ve had long relationships. I’m not just a revolving door as my sister likes to call me,” he said.

Though Tom was with the mother of his daughter for eight years, they were never married. But Tom says he would like to settle down with someone someday.

“I don’t know if I want a family in terms of more children. I think that’s a huge commitment. Unless it’s with the right person, then no. But, of course, I’d like to meet someone I’d like to spend the rest of my life with. I think we all do at some point,” he said. “We can’t just go out every Friday night and sit in champagne and cigar bars, can we?”

Tom Brooks is dating again after ’90 Day Fiancé’

Tom is currently dating someone, but he wants to keep her and his relationship private.

“I am [dating someone],” he said. “We’re taking it nice and slow, not putting it in the public forum, not having them on TLC, trying to find some normality out of all the madness.” 

He says they’ve been together “a few months” and that they don’t live in the same area so they’ve been doing a lot of video chatting.

After having such a public relationship with Darcey, Tom is determined to keep this one private.

“Being in the public eye and having a relationship is the hardest thing you could imagine. And it’s distorted. Even myself, I’ve looked at stuff and I can’t remember it ever happening like that. So it’s like you get a warped sense of what actually was and then you question yourself,” he said. “And then you have hundreds of people, thousands of people, questioning you, questioning your relationship. That puts doubts in your mind. I don’t think I’d want to do that again.”
