Welp, another one bites the dust. None of the couples from this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days are still together. Shocker. Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar are the most recent pair to announce their split. Hamme accused Umar of running a romance scam to marry her. Now, Umar has responded to Hamme’s claims, explaining why he wouldn’t scam her.

Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar’s messy breakup

Hamme and Umar were the only couple to get married on this season. Though their union was made official in Nigeria, Hamme didn’t get the happy ending that she wanted. After coming back to America, Hamme’s relationship fell apart.

“He used me,” she said in an Instagram Live. “He married me just to be on a TV show that people would recognize his name to sell his music. I tried to work with him, his brothers tried to work with him. He thinks it’s just him, he thinks he’s going to do what he wants and he’s never going to apologize for anything he’s ever said bad about me. He’s posing as what you call a romance scam, which is very illegal in Nigeria. It puts that stigma back onto Nigeria again and that’s what I didn’t want to do.”

Umar has claimed that he only married Hamme because she threatened to harm herself if he didn’t. Hamme is now refuting those claims.

“I’ve been the good Hausa Muslim wife here in the United States,” she said. “I’ll be married a year [on] August 29, but after hearing the garbage coming out of SojaBoy’s mouth saying that I tried to hang myself and commit suicide? Big f*ck up, SojaBoy. Big f*cgk up.”

“Usman, I am not a weak woman,” she said. “So for you to tell people that I was going to commit suicide over you, you did me a favor by marrying me? You f*cked up there. That was your first mistake. If I didn’t do it in 2007, when I lost my daughter, my mother, my grandmother, and my aunt, why would I kill myself over you? It stops here. It stops tonight. You have humiliated yourself, me, my daughter, your siblings, your friends. You are nothing more than a scammer.”

Usman Umar says he didn’t scam Lisa

Umar recently appeared on The Domenick Nati Show to clear up all of the accusations made by Hamme.

“If she say I use her for the show, if she say I scam her, I don’t see what to scam about Lisa,” Umar said. “I don’t see. If really I’m a scammer I shouldn’t go for Lisa. I should go for someone who is rich.

“If you are in Nigeria, you make $1000 a week, based on the economy you are making good money but if you are in America and you are making $1000 a week, you are not making money to me, you know why. That is to say in one month, that is four weeks, you are going to make $4,000.

He went on to say that $4,000 in a month in America is not a lot of money because of the high cost of living there.

“So someone that makes $4,000 a month, is that a person that I’m going to scam?” he asked.

Throughout the conversation, Umar made it clear that if he was a scammer, Hamme would not have been a good target.
