’90 Day Fiance’: Was Alexei Brovarnik’s Citizenship Approved? Loren Shares Update
90 Day Fiancé couple Alexei and Loren Brovarnik have been together since their first appearance on the franchise during Season 3. Now, the two have big news for fans, both about Alexei’s visa status, and Loren’s pregnancy. Read ahead to find out whether or not Alexei’s citizenship was approved, and if Loren is expecting a boy or a girl.
A lasting ‘90 Day Fiancé’ relationship
Loren met Alexei during a birthright trip to Israel back in 2013. She fell in love with Alexei quickly, who was a paramedic on Loren’s trip at the time. Only two years later, the two married, having a second marriage in 2016 in Israel as well.
Since then, they’ve been going strong — one of the few 90 Day Fiancé couples who seemed able to remain out of the drama and controversy that often surrounds the hit TLC show. The couple has worked their way into the hearts of fans since their season on the show.
They have also appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. Loren endeared herself to fans of the latter when she opened up about the difficulty she faces with Tourette’s Syndrom. Additionally, as veterans of the show, they often provide humorous commentary during Pillow Talk.
A baby on the way
Loren Brovarnik recently discovered the gender of her unborn child, and she and Alexei are excited to announce that they’ll be having a baby boy. The 90 Day Fiancé star previously thought she’d be having a daughter, basing this off of her cravings and the symptoms of her pregnancy.
Loren posted to Instagram, “Our first [family] pic of 2020 brings us so much joy because today is the day we officially share that BabyBrov is a BOY! We were a smidge surprised needless to say, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! And we just can’t wait to meet our son this May!”
In an interview with People, Loren said, They say there is no bond stronger than the one between a mom and her son, so the fact that I’m getting a mommy’s boy has me over the moon, and the fact that Alex has a new fishing buddy and a mini-him, if you will, has him very excited! The Brovarnik name gets carried on another generation!”
She added, “We’re obviously beyond excited for BabyBrov’s arrival this spring. He is just so loved already by so many!”
Fans on Instagram were over the moon for the couple. One user commented, “Look at your faces! I love it. Alex looks like he just won the lottery! Congrats!”
Another user added, “I’m so happy for you guys!! You guys have always been my absolute favorite!!! So many blessings in store for you guys in 2020. Congratulations!!!”

Alexei Brovarnik’s citizenship approved
That’s not the only good news for the 90 Day Fiancé couple — Alexei Brovarnik’s citizenship process has finally come to a conclusion.
After years of navigating the immigration process, Alexi can rest easy knowing that he’s officially passed his citizenship exam. He’s slated to be sworn in as a citizen just two weeks from now.
Loren shared the news on her Instagram story, writing, “We just had Alex’s citizenship interview and he passed it. After years of applications, waiting, hard work and patience, @alex_brovarnik got approved to be a U.S. citizen.”
She also shared a photo of Alexei napping on the couch, and captioned it, What a busy, yet exciting day!! Our full 90 Day Fiancé process in its entirety has been completed!!”
