Fans of 90 Day Fiancé and its spinoffs know that Darcey Silva has been on a quest to find Mr. Right for years. She dated a few men over the course of her time in the public eye, and she may have finally met her match. News has come out that Darcey is engaged to Georgi Rusev. Although Darcey has only been dating Georgi for a few months, it didn’t stop the celebrity from accepting his proposal of marriage. The two actually met on social media, and Georgi is a massage therapist from Washington, D.C. The couple met in Miami during the Super Bowl for the first time, and they’ve since gotten together in New York City as well.
However, the coronavirus (COVID-19) hit, which changed everything for most people. Darcey knows that Georgi is all alone in D.C., and she invites him to come and visit her. Although he initially declines, he eventually makes his way to Connecticut to quarantine with Darcey in their very own apartment.
Things seem to be on the right track for Darcey, until she recently learned that Georgi is still married, although he’s separated and going through a divorce. Georgi is adamant that he told Darcey about it in Miami, but Darcey doesn’t remember him telling her.
Despite this tiny detail, the couple is now officially engaged. The news broke in an exclusive article from People, where it’s revealed that Darcey accepted Georgi’s proposal of marriage back in June of this year.

What did Darcey do after becoming engaged to Georgi?
Darcey told People that she called her daughters, Aniko and Aspen, after accepting the proposal from Georgi. She says it already feels like “a little family unit,” and that’s honestly great news.
“They mean the most to me, and Georgi knows they come first and foremost in my life,” Darcey tells People. “He accepts them and me as a mom, and they get along very well. We already kind of feel like a little family unit.”
Everything looks bright for Darcey and her new fiancé, Georgi, and she says their “future is so great.”
“I’ve always wanted a partner in life where you can raise each other up and not shoot each other down,” Darcey continues. “I decided the next relationship I got in, I would say what I want. We’re able in the end to work it all out, rise above and stay strong for the love that we know we share because our future is so great.”
It looks like Darcey is finally getting everything she’s always wanted, and many fans are happy for her.
