’90 Day Fiancé’: What Tom Brooks Is Looking for in His Next Girlfriend Is a Little Surprising
90 Day Fiancé personality Tom Brooks is someone who’s completely taken to reality TV stardom. He loves attending meet and greets and posing for pictures with fans, he tries to respond to many of the Instagram comments and messages he receives, his handle is even “tombrooks_tv.”
But when it comes to his next serious partner, Tom doesn’t want them to “work in television.” He’d prefer her to have a “normal 9 – 5.”

“I think, this time, I really need someone who’s loving and caring first and foremost for themselves and someone that doesn’t work in television. Someone who’s just got a normal 9 – 5 and just goes to work, has their routine, likes to go out and enjoy life,” he said in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on May 29.
It seems Tom doesn’t quite want to give up the celebrity life himself, but he wants to start keeping his romantic life private. Why does he want a partner who’s not on TV? Becuase he feels it’s hard to have viewers constantly weigh in on his relationship.
“It’s hard. Like, being in the public eye and having a relationship is the hardest thing you could imagine. And it’s distorted. Even myself, I’ve looked at stuff and I can’t remember it ever happening like that,” he said. “So it’s like you get a warped sense of what actually was and then you question yourself. And then you have hundreds of people, thousands of people, questioning you, questioning your relationship. That puts doubts in your mind. I don’t think I’d want to do that again.”

Tom is currently dating someone, but he didn’t give her name in the interview.
“I am [dating someone]. We’re taking it nice and slow, not putting it in the public forum, not having them on TLC, trying to find some normality out of all the madness,” he said.
The reality star says they’ve been dating “a few months now” and that they don’t live in the same town so they’ve been doing a lot of video chatting under the current circumstances.
Tom says he does want to get married someday, “eventually.”
“I don’t know if I want a family in terms of more children. I think that’s a huge commitment. Unless it’s with the right person, then no. But, of course, I’d like to meet someone I’d like to spend the rest of my life with. I think we all do at some point. We can’t just go out every Friday night and sit in champagne and cigar bars, can we? ” he said.
