’90 Day Fiancé’: Why Babygirl Lisa Thinks Usman Is Being Faithful to Her Right Now
90 Day Fiancé couple Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar have both been accused of cheating on each other.
Lisa was recently spotted out grocery shopping with someone who looked like her ex-husband, and fans wondered if she was either cheating on Usman or they had broken up.
And during the show, fans surely remember Babygirl Lisa getting upset with Usman over the way he interacts with his fans. She felt he crossed a line by telling them things like “I love you.” But he insisted that she didn’t understand the cultural differences and that his interactions were purely for professional purposes.
“Despite all the bullsh*t drama between Usman and I, I do love Usman more than life and I believe him when he says this woman is nothing to him,” she concluded at the end of the episode.
Babygirl Lisa is sure Usman isn’t cheating on her right now
Currently, Babygirl Lisa and Usman are apart, but still married. In an interview Lisa did with The Domenick Nati Show on May 22, she told the interviewer that she’s sure Usman is being faithful to her right now. Why? Because he answers the phone whenever she calls, no matter what.
“Anytime he calls me or I call him we automatically answer no matter where we’re at. If we’re in the bathroom or shower, we stop what we’re doing and hit that video button so we can talk to one another. So at any given time he can ring my phone, like right now. He’s probably like, ‘Oh, let me hit this button. Who’s she talking to?’” she said.
Babygirl Lisa on the possibility of Usman marrying another woman
While Lisa is confident that Usman isn’t cheating on her, she also spoke about the possibility of a him getting married to a second wife sometime down the line.
“In Nigeria he is entitled to take four wives but people don’t understand the complete law of that. I am the first wife. I carry the highest title. The second, third, fourth, are below. So he may take a second wife so long as he can take care of my house, my bills, and I live comfortably. I don’t have to pay for anything, he has to pay for it all before he can take a second wife,” she said.
Lisa says Usman may marry a second wife if she’s unable to get pregnant, and if he can afford it.
“So for him to take a second wife if we cannot conceive, he has to be able to financially stand ground that he’s able to take care of two households,” she said.
Lisa explained that this has been her and Usman’s plan all along. It’s nothing new.
“It’s part of the culture and I knew that since we’ve been together three years. It’s not like I met him 30 days ago and went to Nigeria and said, ‘Oh I’m in love with Soja Boy, I’m gonna marry this local celebrity.’ It was nothing like that. I knew him for three years. This was something that I already knew what was coming. But the show and the fans blow it up. So, it’s OK. Take a deep breath. I know what’s coming,” she said.
