90 Day: The Single Life’: Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra are Separated, ‘She Moved Out 3 Weeks Ago’
90 Day: The Single Life recently wrapped up season 2 of the series on discovery+ and part 1 of the tell-all dropped on Jan. 28, 2022. Shaun Johnson returned as the host of the tell-all, along with all the stars from season 2, along with Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra. Debbie Johnson, Colt’s mom, dipped her toe back into the dating pool this season but unfortunately didn’t find love. However, she quickly came under fire from her son and daughter-in-law as they blamed her for their current separation.
Colt Johnson tells ‘The Single Life’ star Debbie Johnson that ‘he’s upset she can’t do anything by herself’
While The Single Life fans probably planned to hear about Debbie’s dating adventures at the tell-all, that isn’t what they got. Instead, after Shaun showed a clip of Debbie and Colt arguing, Colt blew off some serious steam.
“I’m upset that you can’t do anything by yourself. I’m the first person, first call, first everything with you,” Colt angrily told Debbie.
While Debbie tried to refute Colt’s claims, he quickly shut her down. Vanessa chimed in and told Shaun, “He is her go-to for everything.”
Finally, Debbie decides to leave The Single Life tell-all set after hearing Colt and Vanessa’s complaints.
Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra confess they’re currently separated
After Debbie left, Shaun asked how Debbie’s demands of Colt affected his and Vanessa’s relationship. Shocking fans and other cast members of The Single Life, Colt told Shaun the two were currently separated, and Vanessa had “moved out three weeks ago.”
Vanessa explained, “I moved out. I’m tired of being under her roof. It’s nonstop. Even if the door is closed to our room, it’s ‘Hey, Colt! Hey, Colt!’ I suffered a miscarriage and you know, we told Debbie about it. She didn’t know at first, we kept it from her. Her reaction was ‘I’m sorry,’ and she gave me a hug.”
Colt spoke up to say, “She [Debbie] obviously has some feelings and emotions but she can’t express them to me. I don’t know why.”
‘The Single Life’ star Debbie Johnson broke down to producers backstage
After walking off the set, Debbie countered Colt’s claims of her inability to live on her own without him. Tearfully, Debbie said, “The thing is, he can’t even afford f****** to live there. He doesn’t have a job. She doesn’t have a job. I’m paying all the f****** bills. I’m going to tell him to get off the stage. He doesn’t need to be there.”
Colt and Debbie’s relationship has been a talking point of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise for years, dating back to Colt’s first appearance with his ex-wife Larissa. Fans typically disliked Debbie and Colt before her appearance on The Single Life Season 2. However, fans felt she redeemed herself when they saw a softer, more vulnerable side of her as she tried her hand at dating again.
It isn’t clear if Debbie and Colt will go their separate ways. Fans of the show will have to wait and see. 90 Day: The Single Life Season 2 tell-all part 2 drops on Feb. 4, 2022.
