It’s been a wild ride for reality TV families in recent years. The Gosselin family imploded in front of millions of people. The Kardashians had the world watch their families unravel, and the Duggar family has dealt with two separate sexual abuse scandals. It would stand to reason that, at some point, a family member is going to spill. DeuxMoi, the famed gossip source, posted a blind item indicating two members of a reality TV family are ready to spill the tea. More than one family could have a future whistleblower, but we think the blind item is about a Duggar family tell-all.

A blind item posted on DeuxMoi suggests two reality TV family rebels are going to pen a tell-all book

Famed gossip account, DeuxMoi has a hot take on a future tell-all book. On June 3, the anonymous gossip columnist posted a blind item to their Instagram Stories. The item suggested two former reality TV stars are ready to write a tell-all book about their experiences.

The item, submitted by an anonymous tipster, didn’t name any names but suggested a bombshell book could be forthcoming from two rebellious family members. Both authors are allegedly related to the family, but only one is an immediate family member. While a few former reality TV stars could fit the description, there is one family that fits the blind item better than others.

All signs point to the Duggars being the potential tell-all authors

While the posting on the DeuxMoi was a blind item, most people who followed the Duggar family for a while immediately suspected the post was about the now-disgraced reality TV family. The hints, after all, are pretty obvious.

First and foremost, the blind item says a cousin and an immediate family member are planning to pen a tell-all. The Duggar family has the most vocal cousins in reality TV history. In recent weeks, Amy Duggar King has openly discussed everything from Josh Dugger to her non-existent relationship with her uncle. Jill Dillard would likely be the “immediate family member” the blind item mentioned. Jill is mostly estranged from her parents and has been for several years. She and Amy remain close.

Aside from the potential authors, the blind item also suggests that the authors aren’t worried about preserving a relationship after “everything that’s gone done.” The sentence seems to allude to the recent family drama. In December 2021, a jury convicted Josh Duggar of possessing and receiving child pornography. Further details of the sexual abuse inside the Duggar family home came to light during his trial. Infighting in the family’s social circle has also spilled out into the public arena.

The biggest clue is the preferred pseudonym of the tipster and the email address that sent the tip. The email address used in the blind item seems inspired by the Duggar family’s ultra-conservative Christian beliefs. The pseudonym, Pest Control, might be a reference to Josh Duggar. Duggar family critics have nicknamed the convicted sex offender “Sex Pest.”

While all signs point to the blind item being about the Duggar family, we can’t say if a Duggar family tell-all is actually in the works. Derick Dillard, Jill Dillard’s husband, said he planned to author a book with Jill more than a year ago. Still, nothing has materialized. Maybe Amy’s buy-in will be the push they need.

Other reality TV families could fit, too

While all signs seem to point to two Duggars being the rumored authors of a future tell-all, they aren’t the only former reality TV stars who might have an ax to grind. A Reddit user suggested that one of the Gosselin sextuplets and an iced-out family member could fit the clues given in the DeuxMoi blind item.

The Gosselin family appeared on TLC for several years before a bitter divorce divided the family. The Gosselin twins, Madelyn and Cara Gosselin, are 21-years-old. The sextuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel Gosselin, recently turned 18.

For years, stories of parental alienation and potential abuse inside the home have circulated in tabloids. Several years ago, Hannah Gosselin opted to live with her father, Jon. Collin moved in with Jon in 2018. He was living in a residential treatment facility before then. Jon has little involvement with the other six children, four of whom still live at home with Kate Gosselin.

The Gosselin kids certainly seem to have a story to tell. It’s unclear if they are at the age where they’d be willing to sacrifice a relationship with a parent and their siblings, though. Technically, other reality TV family members could fit the description, too. Still, a Duggar family tell-all seems most likely. We’ll just have to see if anything comes of the rumor.
