A Heartwarming Sign That La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony Are Back Together for Good
La La Anthony and her husband, Carmelo Anthony, have been together for almost two decades. However, the last two years of their relationship has definitely been a trying time for both of them. After having to deal with numerous cheating rumors, the couple decided that they could no longer ignore the strain on their relationship and decided to split up. For a while, it looked as in the two may be trying reconcile, however, they later announced that they were officially getting a divorce.
While the public was under the assumption that these two were officially calling it quits, they recently posted a photo that made many fans wonder if La La and Carmelo are willing to give their relationship one more chance. La La and Carmelo Anthony’s rocky relationship
La La and Carmelo Anthony first met in 2003. After only dating for a few months, the couple got engaged in 2004. For the next few years, their relationship seemed very strong and the two were very happy together. In 2007, they welcomed a son named Kiyan, and then three years later, after being engaged for almost seven years, the couple finally tied the knot.
They seemed to have a picture-perfect relationship until 2012 when a young 19-year-old woman named Asia Monroe claimed that she and Carmelo Anthony had a romantic relationship. Monroe claimed that Carmelo first contacted her on social media and that the two quickly hit it off.
Monroe said that their relationship lasted for about two months. During that time, Anthony bought Asia a few thoughtful gifts and said that he would continue to buy her gifts if she agreed not to go public with their relationship. Anthony adamantly denied that he had a relationship with Monroe. And eventually, he and La La were able to move on from the cheating rumor.
Cheating rumors surfaced once again
In 2015, another cheating rumor surfaced, only this time, La La Anthony was the one being accused of cheating. According to a few different sources, La La allegedly cheated on her husband with a rapper named Maino. Maino’s ex-wife even took to social media to publicly accuse La La of the infidelity.
However, La La quickly shut down those rumors and said that they were 100% false. La La and her husband even posted a video to Instagram where they made a parody of Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, and Chris Brown’s song, “All Eyes on You.” La La named the song “All Eyes On Us” in an attempt to mock all of the people who had been accusing her of cheating on her husband. However, it wasn’t long after that the two decided to separate.
In 2017, Carmelo Anthony was accused, once again, of cheating on his wife. This time, the woman that he cheated with claimed that Anthony impregnated her. La La and Carmelo were separated at the time, but the news was reportedly still devastating to La La.
About a year later, the couple decided to give their relationship one more try, but that only lasted a few months before yet another cheating rumor surfaced and in 2019, the couple announced that they would be filing for divorce.
Could there be another reconciliation in La La and Carmelo Anthony’s future?
On Christmas day, La La posted a picture of herself, Carmelo, and their 12-year-old son celebrating the holiday together in matching pajamas. She captioned the photo with “Two grateful hearts = one happy kid…”
It’s hard to say if this photo means that the couple has decided to get back together again or if they decided to get along so that they could both spend Christmas with their son.
If they do decide to get back together, we know that they have a lot of friends who support their decision. Fellow NBA players and friend, Dwyane Wade commented on the photo by writing “Family [love].” Other friends, like Khloe and Taraji P. Henson also wrote supportive messages on the couple’s post.
