‘A Million Little Things Darcy’: Here’s Why She Looks So Familiar

When A Million Little Things Season 2 introduced Darcy Cooper as a possible new love interest for Gary Mendez (James Roday Rodriguez), some fans weren’t happy. Many viewers would like to see Gary end up with Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller). However, the closer Gary and Darcy get in A Million Little Things Season 3, the more fans ship the new couple.

Floriana Lima joined A Million Little Things cast on March 5, 2020, for season 2, episode 16, “Change of Plans.” Viewers asked numerous times whether Catherine (Grace Park) had any other friends. So, the producers delivered Darcy Cooper. She is the mother of Theo Saville’s (Tristan Byon) friend, Liam (Anthony Bolognese).

At first, Darcy makes fun of Gary for hitting on the young woman at the front desk of the laser tag place. However, by the end of the episode, Darcy admits she played wingman and secured the attendant’s number for Gary.

Floriana Lima plays Gary’s new girlfriend, Darcy, on A Million Little Things. Although she joined the series in season 2, things keep getting more serious for her and Gary. So, fans want to know more about the actor who seems to be here to stay.

You probably recognize Lima from watching the CW’s Supergirl. She portrayed Detective Maggie Sawyer in seasons 2 and 3 of the series. According to IMDb, Lima also appeared in one-off TV episodes of How I Met Your Mother, Ghost Whisperer, Melrose Place, House, In Plain Sight, Franklin & Bash, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She’s no stranger to the TV screen, so if she looks familiar, you probably saw her in another series. Other shows that Lima had roles in include Fox’s The Mob Doctor, NBC’s Allegiance, and ABC’s The Family. 

‘A Million Little Things’ Junior recap

In the latest A Million Little Things episode featuring Darcy and Gary, the couple gets even closer. Gary’s dad, Javier Mendez (Paul Rodriguez), unexpectedly visits the Dixon home. Delilah Dixon (Stephanie Szostak) isn’t back from Europe yet because of her father’s injury and the COVID-19 pandemic. So, Gary’s dad jokes that he inherited a lovely home for free.

Later Darcy and Javier bond over their PTSD following fighting in a war. Darcy tells Gary and his dad what a difference it made to attend the retreat with other veterans and how important it is to talk about what happened while she was in Iraq.

Viewers also found out that Gary sold the engagement ring he purchased for Maggie Bloom. We hope that’s a sign that the relationship is over, and he truly wants to make things work with Darcy.
