‘A Million Little Things’: Delilah Finally Returns But Her Family Isn’t Happy
Viewers wonder about Delilah Dixon (Stephanie Szostak) on A Million Little Things Season 3 every week. She began the season by supporting Katherine (Grace Park) and Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) at their wedding vow renewal. However, she spent the remainder of the season in France. We finally have set a date for Delilah’s return to A Million Little Things, but it doesn’t look like her family is very happy about it from the sneak peek photos.
Where is Delilah on ‘A Million Little Things’?
In A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 3, Delilah left to head to France with her father, Lenny (Paul Guilfoyle). Her daughter, Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene), visited Harvard since it was one of her top choices for college. However, while she was there, she realized that it was too hard to be in the place where her father, Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston), attended college. Sophie wanted to follow her dreams, not her father’s.
While helping Sophie continually cope with her father’s death, which happened in A Million Little Things Season 1, Delilah realized she wanted to spend more time with her father before he died. So, she planned a trip to France. However, when they were about to return home, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic swept through the world. She couldn’t secure a flight at first. However, when she finally got two plane tickets home from Europe, Lenny fell and broke his hip. So, Delilah remained in France with her father until he healed enough to return home.
Is Delilah leaving ‘A Million Little Things’?
Since Delilah was missing for almost all of A Million Little Things Season 3, many viewers wonder if she is leaving the show. Where is Stephanie Szostak now? The actor who portrays Delilah lives in New York City with her husband and two sons. However, the series films in Canada. During an Instagram video on April 21, 2021, Szostak updated her fans. She explained that she couldn’t travel between Canada and New York because of the quarantine period due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the writers decided to send Delilah to France for the majority of the season.
When is Delilah on ‘A Million Little Things’ coming back?
Delilah returns for the A Million Little Things Season 3 finale, “Justice: Part 1″ and Justice: Part 2” on June 9, 2021, at 9 p.m. EST. Delilah returns to the Dixon household in the two-hour season finale with Charlotte “Charlie” Dixon in tow. Eddie (the baby’s father) comes to visit in one scene, but it looks like Charlie wants nothing to do with Eddie. We can’t blame her since she hasn’t seen the man in many months.
The Dixon family is not happy with their mother
In another scene, Delilah’s son on A Million Little Things, Danny Dixon (Chance Hurstfield), yells at his mother. Gary Mendez (James Roday Rodriguez) and Sophie don’t look happy, either. From the photos, it seems like everyone is appalled at Delilah for something. Since she wasn’t there for Sophie throughout the sexual assault from her music teacher, Peter (Andrew Leeds), it’s possible that Danny is mad on behalf of his sister.
In other photos from the upcoming A Million Little Things Season 3 finale, Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller) accompanies Sophie to revisit Layla Gregory’s house. In the pictures of Georgia Gregory (Kari Matchett) and Christopher Gregory (Michael Weston), Delilah isn’t present. Only Maggie supports Sophie in seeking justice for her trauma. It looks like Delilah has a lot to make up for with her teenage children on A Million Little Things.
The A Million Little Things Season 3 Finale airs on ABC on June 9, 2021, from 9 p.m. EST to 11 p.m. EST.
