‘A Million Little Things’: Greta Could be Katherine’s ‘Soulmate’ According to Show Boss
Greta (Cameron Esposito) could be here to stay on A Million Little Things. The relationship between Katherine (Grace Park) and Greta is becoming more serious with each new episode. Although the season 4 episode 16 preview teases drama with the return of Greta’s wife, the show boss DJ Nash indicated that Greta and Katherine might be end game.
Who plays Greta on ‘A Million Little Things’?
Cameron Esposito plays Greta Strobe in A Million Little Things. Katherine and Greta were best friends in high school; however, things got weird when Greta asked Katherine to the dance. They lost touch but recently reconnected. Katherine finally introduced Greta to the friend group in A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 15.
Before joining the A Million Little Things cast as a recurring character in season 4, Esposito was primarily a stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster. She’s well known for her show, Take My Wife, and her podcast, Queery. The main topics Esposito typically talks about are feminism, social justice, and the LGBTQ community. She’s also Buzzfeed’s Ask a Lesbian series host and creator. Her acting roles before joining the cast included credits in Mother’s Day, Moonshot, and The Dark Divide. Show creator DJ Nash described the way Grace Park guided Esposito from her comedic roles into acting.
“I had a soft side for Cameron because I’m a former stand-up who tried acting,” Nash told TV Insider. “Grace [Park] just took her under her wing. It was great. And it made it so authentic [that she did it the] way Katherine would take Greta under her wing coming to this new, intimidating friend group.”
Could Greta be Katherine’s soulmate on ‘A Million Little Things’?
Nash also teased that Katherine will find her soulmate in A Million Little Things, and it sounds like it could be Greta.
“It’s so funny because the character I align with the most is Katherine, and when I read stuff on social media—which isn’t that often—people are always pushing for her to have happiness and the support she deserves,” Nash explained in the same TV Insider interview. “It has always been our plan to take her on a journey where she finds her soulmate, but that doesn’t come without challenges.”
Although Nash didn’t say that Greta is Katherine’s soulmate, it’s significant that he mentioned it during a conversation about the new girlfriend. There might be a few bumps in the road, but Greta could be the one.
Cameron Esposito teased drama in ‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 Episode 16
Those “challenges” Nash mentioned pop right up between Greta and Katherine in A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 16. The preview teased the return of Greta’s wife, Julia (Jessica Lindsey), who does not look happy. Then, Esposito shared a tweet of the three women on social media — Park, Esposito, and Lindsey.
“Better catch up on @AMillionABC on @hulu now cuz next week’s got DRAMA,” Esposito wrote in the tweet.
According to ABC, the next episode of A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 16, “Lesson Learned,” airs next week, on April 20, 2022.
