When does ‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 Episode 9 return for the midseason premiere?
ABC officially announced the return of A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 9 for Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at 10 p.m. EST. The last time viewers saw the tight-knit friend group on Dec. 1, Gary found an old post-it note from Maggie Bloom. It rekindled old feelings, and then he embarked on a road trip with Maggie even though she’s happily dating Boston Bruins player Cam Lamarouex (Ryan Hansen).
‘A Million Little Things’ Season 4 Episode 9 midseason premiere trailer
In the new preview for A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 9, viewers sense something is brewing between Maggie and Gary. As the former couple heads to her 30th birthday party, Maggie stops the elevator.
“I think you should show up for the rest of your life,” Gary tells Maggie.
Maggie looks like she’s mad at Gary, or she’s going to kiss him. Meanwhile, Rome Howard (Romany Malco) accompanies Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) to aquatic physical therapy. Throughout the A Million Little Things preview, Eddie and Regina (Christina Moses) try to help Rome look on the bright side of life.
“Gary learns some new things about Maggie on their road trip to Albany,” the A Million Little Things synopsis reads. “Eddie helps Rome in a time of need, and Regina sets boundaries with her father. Katherine reunites with someone from her past.”
Did Delilah leave ‘A Million Little Things’?
No, Delilah did not leave A Million Little Things Season 4; however, she is a recurring character, not a main character. So, she isn’t in as many episodes as Rodriguez, Miller, David Giuntoli, Romany Malco, Christina Moses, Grace Park, Lizzy Greene, and Tristan Byon. Her character flew to France and did not return in season 3 because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine period required to enter Canada. Szostak lives in Connecticut with her husband and two sons; however, the series films in Vancouver, British Columbia.
For A Million Little Things Season 1 and 2, Szostak flew back and forth for filming and family time every few days. However, the pandemic made that travel complicated. For season 4, Szostak instead opted to become a recurring character and spend more time with her family.
“She’s in a couple early on, and then I know where we’re going for the season finale,” Showrunner DJ Nash told TVLine. “And then hopefully in the middle, if she’s able to and we have the stories for it, we’ll do that, as well. I’m hoping we see her more than we saw her last year.”
Since the TV Line interview, the COVID-19 omicron variant emerged, so it might be more difficult for Szostak to return for midseason filming. The only thing Showbiz Cheat Sheet knows is that she will return for the A Million Little Things Season 4 finale; however, it doesn’t look like the midseason premiere features Delilah.
ABC’s A Million Little Things returns from a long winter break on Feb. 23, 2022.
