‘A Million Little Things’ Season 3 Episode 14 Recap ‘United Front’: Rome and Tyrell
Rome tried to help Tyrell cope with racial injustices in America. However, Tyrell kept skipping classes to attend the Black Lives Matter protests. Tyrell admitted that he went to the protests to record what’s happening so that no one can rewrite history like in his classes at school.
Later on in A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 14, Rome found a solution for Tyrell’s activism. Instead of continually skipping history class, Rome began to teach Tyrell how to use his video equipment. The teenager can create a documentary about the protests as an independent study instead of sitting through a history class that he hates.
Maggie Bloom tries to help Sophie Dixon
When Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene) returned from visiting her mother, Delilah Dixon (Stephanie Szostak), in France, she still wouldn’t touch her guitars. To recap, in A Million Little Things Season 3 Episode 12, Sophie’s music instructor, Peter (Andrew Leeds), sexually assaulted the teenager.
In an attempt to get Sophie to revisit music, Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller) told Sophie she needed help creating a theme song for her podcast. Although Sophie said she was taking an “artistic break,” she began playing again after hearing how pitiful Maggie’s jingle sounded. Things finally seemed OK when Sophie’s ex-boyfriend, Jake, appeared at the door with friendship flowers. Sophie’s brother, Danny (Chance Hurstfield), told him what happened with Peter.
Later, Sophie opened up to Maggie. The teen couldn’t figure out how to label what happened since the instructor didn’t touch her. He forced her to wear revealing clothing while performing and then touched himself in front of her.
With Maggie’s help, Sophie asked for another chance at MMI and shared her truth with the person who interviewed her. The woman explained that Sophie could audition again next year because Peter always recommended the best students. However, Sophie found out that the last student Peter mentored, Layla Gregory, died six months ago by suicide.

Eddie realized that Catherine had no plans to give him joint custody over Theo.
‘A Million Little Things’ Season 3 Episode 14 Recap: Rome and Regina
Regina’s mother, Shelly (Romy Rosemont), began to get jealous of Walter’s (Lou Beatty, Jr.) new girlfriend, Florence (Karen Robinson). She joined Regina at her restaurant to teach her several new recipes passed down through generations.
Her mother surprised Gina with a visit to the restaurant and then criticized her about her “Black Lives Matter” sign in the window. She’s afraid it puts a target on her daughter’s back. However, Gina insists she already has a target because of the color of her skin.
Shelly insisted on staying to help the two women cook; however, it didn’t go as planned. After a few hours, Gina yelled at her mother for suggesting she give up her dream of owning a restaurant. Meanwhile, Shelly took the outburst to heart, believing that she couldn’t do anything right for her daughter. Florence stepped in and reminded Gina that family always comes first. Regina and Shelly admitted that they could both be themselves and try again.
What’s wrong with Regina?
Regina realized that she mistakenly put baking soda into the bread pudding recipe instead of salt. In the next episode, things get worse. Something is wrong with Regina since her head hit the pavement during their last Black Lives Matter protest. However, viewers won’t find out what it is until the show returns.
