Sam Huntington returned to the cast as Tom in A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 10, “Surprise.” He sent Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller) a heartwarming 30th birthday message at her surprise party. However, viewers first met Tom in A Million Little Things Season 1. He visited Maggie in Boston and asked her to return home. From the conversation, it was apparent that Maggie and Tom dated, but she broke things off when she left for Boston. Tom wanted her to fight her cancer; however, Maggie wanted to live her life. Mark Derwin joined the cast as Nick in A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 2. He plays the traffic and weather guru at the radio station where Maggie works. Nick is a constant instigator who formerly dated Jane Goodman (Stephnie Weir). However, in season 4 episode 10, he found a new love interest.

Derwin also spent a considerable amount of time playing Ben Davidson on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. Stephnie Weir joined the A Million Little Things cast for season 4 episode 1 as Jane Goodman. She’s Maggie’s boss at the radio station and Mark’s former lover.
According to IMDb, Stephnie Weir had extensive TV and filmography credits before becoming Jane Goodman in the cast of A Million Little Things Season 4. Viewers might recognize Weir from the early 2000s when she portrayed various characters on MADtv. She also portrayed Debbie in the Jim Carrey film, Fun with Dick and Jane. Erin Karpluk returns as Anna Benoit
Although Andrew Leeds played a prominent role in A Million Little Things Season 3 as Peter, his on-screen wife is more pronounced in the series now. Peter sexually assaulted Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene) in season 3, and then Gary Mendez (James Roday Rodriguez) assisted in a brutal assault of Peter.
However, Peter’s wife, Anna Benoit (portrayed by Erin Karpluk), didn’t know anything about her husband’s actions. She randomly met Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli), and the two hit it off. After receiving a go-ahead from Sophie, Eddie and Anna attended Maggie’s surprise party together. Karpluk starred as Erica in the Canadian drama series, Being Erica from 2009 to 2011. Some of her other credits include Reasonable Doubt (2014), Wyvern (2009), and Godiva’s (2005-2006).
