Adam and Danielle Busby From ‘OutDaughtered’ Are Way Different Parents Than Jeremy and Audrey Roloff From ‘Little People, Big World’
Adam and Danielle Busby may be newcomers to the world of reality TV, but fans are already loving their first few seasons of OutDaughtered. The Busbys are known for having the only set of all-female quintuplets in the U.S., and their show chronicles their lives with the quints and their older daughter, Blayke. And it shouldn’t surprise anyone to know that Adam and Danielle are also familiar with the other families featured on TLC. Not only did they recently mention that they’ve met the Duggars, but they also saw Audrey and Jeremy Roloff of Little People, Big World fame while vacationing.
The Roloffs and the Busbys seem to get along famously — but their approach to sharing their parenting knowledge and going about mothering and fathering their kids is way different. Here’s what the Busbys said that clued us in.
Adam and Danielle Busby recently saw Jeremy and Audrey Roloff in Hawaii
TLC sleuths thought something was strange when Jeremy and Audrey Roloff seemed to be posting photos of a Hawaii vacation spot that looked a lot similar to Adam and Danielle Busby’s — and it seemed viewers were on to something. On May 5, Adam gave a clue via Instagram that he and Danielle would be meeting up with “an extraordinary group of great friends that we will be spending a few days with for work and play!” And Jeremy and Audrey, as well as their toddler daughter, Ember, were those friends. Adam posted a photo with Matt Roloff and girlfriend Caryn Chandler just a few days later, too.
The Busbys also discussed their Hawaiian vacation during an interview with Us Weekly, too. “We had a lot of fun with them,” Adam said during the interview. And Danielle and Adam also mentioned that seeing Ember, who’s not even 2 years old, reminded them of simpler times when the quints were that young.
Adam and Danielle recently commented that life was ‘slow’ when they had just one daughter
Anyone who’s seen Adam and Danielle knows how crazy their lives are. Ever since the quints were born, they’ve been working at hyper-speed to ensure everything’s taken care of for each of their six kids. And they also put a lot of trust into their 8-year-old daughter, Blayke, to help out.
During the Us Weekly interview, Adam and Danielle also commented on how “slow” life was when just Blayke was around. “It’s a little easier with just one,” Adam confirmed, referring to Audrey and Jeremy just having Ember to care for at the moment. “It’s a reminder of how slow life was when we just had one,” he continued. “And things are so much more different now.”
While Adam and Danielle may look at Jeremy and Audrey’s duties as easy compared to what they have to deal with, Audrey has noted in the past how difficult childrearing just one baby can be, too. And fans criticized Audrey when she noted that certain difficult aspects of motherhood, like feeding problems, were “robbing” her of time with Ember. With so many kids in the Busby household, we doubt too many of them get a ton of one-on-one time — and Adam and Danielle know they just do the best they can with the resources they have.
Adam and Danielle don’t offer unsolicited advice — but Jeremy and Audrey love giving their insights
Jeremy and Audrey love to give their fans advice, whether it’s about parenting methods they use or about their marriage. They even have their own book, A Love Letter Life, that gives their readers an entire guide on how to have a successful marriage. Unfortunately, many who are familiar with their work don’t think they’re the most qualified individuals to be doling out guidance, as they’ve only been married a few years.
Unlike Audrey and Jeremy, fans love Adam and Danielle because they only offer advice when asked. The beloved Busby couple even mentioned this during their interview with Us Weekly. Adam noted that he and Danielle don’t give unsolicited advice to anyone, and Danielle notes she appreciates when others offer her solutions, but she always has to modify the advice so it works with the quints.
We’re not sure if Adam and Danielle will be bottling their advice via a book about marriage or parenting anytime soon — but given how loved they are by their fans, we bet it’d be a hit.
