Seeing ‘Agatha All Along’ TikToks ‘Helped Get [Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-lopez] Through February’
She’s been pulling every evil string. Agnes went from being a supportive neighbor to killing Wanda’s dog. Despite messing up everything, the WandaVision original song, “Agatha All Along,” remains a favorite track for many Marvel fans, even picking up a Grammy nomination and an Emmy Award win.

Everyone deserves a happily ever after — especially two lovestruck Avengers. Following Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Wanda and Vision went on an adventure for the original Disney+ series, WandaVision.
The superheroes appeared in several sitcom-themed episodes, which eventually resulted in Wanda Maximoff embracing her “Scarlet Witch” persona. When it came to the soundtrack for this Disney+ original series, Marvel turned to the songwriting duo behind Frozen and Frozen 2. That’s Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
Some Marvel fans created ‘Agatha All Along’ TikToks following the song’s release
Since its debut, “Agatha All Along” became a favorite original track of many Marvel fans. On the WandaVision: Episode 7 (Original Soundtrack), this song earned over 12 million Spotify plays. It received the Grammy nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
“Agatha All Along” also earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics. This song also found success on social media, with some fans creating their Marvel-inspired videos on TikTok and Instagram. One user joked that “Agatha All Along” is the national anthem, while another danced around their house to the original song.
“It was unbelievable,” Kristen Anderson-Lopez said during an interview with The Wrap. “We started getting messages from friends saying, ‘Did you see what this person on TikTok did?’ or seeing people creating dances to it. It helped get us through February, honestly.”
Kathryn Hahn performs as Agatha Harkness in this Disney+ original series
One of the performers behind “Agatha All Along” is Hahn, who portrays Agnes/Agatha in this Disney+ production. It’s this character that influenced the theme of this original track.
“The Andersons are sort of lyric witches with magical powers,” Robert Lopez said during the same interview. “The version that appears in the show has a little bit of padding within it because they needed to fit in some scenes where the music didn’t accommodate.”
As one of Wanda’s Westfield neighbors, Agatha spent time with Wanda’s children, having a “gas” with other characters. The songwriters added Hahn’s “glorious” vocal cameo to “Agatha All Along.”
“So, there’s a couple of extra vamps,” he continued. “Kathryn was so amazing. She had recorded the ‘And I killed Sparky too!’ and it was just glorious. I wish we had had that in the version that went out to iTunes and Spotify because it’s the most amazing line reading I’ve ever heard.”
Hahn is confirmed to return for a WandaVision spinoff currently in the works for Disney+. She will return as the character for Agatha: House of Harkness, with more information presumably being announced in the coming months.
