I just thought he was a nice guy, and that was that.”

From their the duo had a whirlwind romance. Roker proposed on the rim of the Grand Canyon on New Year’s Day in 1994 and the duo were married on September 16, 1995, at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in New York and had a reception at Essex House with a ton of famous faces attending.
