Music superstar Alicia Keys has been married to world-renowned record producer Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, since 2010. Together they have owned some beautiful properties but perhaps none more stunning than their cliff-top home which overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is reportedly the house that inspired Tony Stark’s Iron Man mansion.

Keys and Dean have recently sold two of their homes, however, they still reside at their Razor House estate. Here’s more about all the properties and a look inside “America’s Coolest Home.”

Keys and Dean sold a New Jersey poperty they bought from Eddie Murphy

The “Girl on Fire” artist and her husband have owned a few properties on both coasts.

One home on the East Coast is located in Englewood, New Jersey. Keys and Dean bought that estate from Eddie Murphy for $12 million in 2013. The mansion has a whopping 32 rooms; 15 are bathrooms and six are bedrooms. The Colonial-style brick home also features an indoor pool, a bowling alley, a movie theater, and a recording studio of course.

According to Zillow, it went on the market in 2021 and as of February 2022, the sale of the five-acre gated house was pending. The power couple unloaded it for less than they purchased it at $9.9 million.

They also sold their Phoenix vacation home at a loss

Keys and Dean also once owned a vacation home in Arizona.

The beautiful property they had there is located on Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. The mansion sits on one acre of land and has 7,050 square feet of living space. It also boasts six bathrooms and four bedrooms including a semi-circular room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private deck to take in the mountain views.

The home also has 20-foot ceilings, an 800-bottle wine cellar, a gym, a game room with a wet bar, and a six-car garage accessible by an elevator. And to cap all that off, there’s an amazing outdoor infinity-edge swimming pool.

Public records show that the pair bought it in 2008 for $3.9 million and sold it in 2021 for $3.1 million

Keys and Dean have kept their residence in La Jolla, California, where they and their two children, Egypt and Genesis, currently live.

That estate is known as Razor House and is said to be the inspiration for Iron Man character Tony Stark’s bachelor pad. It’s been described as “America’s Coolest Home” but Keys and Dean call it their “Dreamland.” The “Fallin'” singer told Architectural Digest, it is “a place to create dreams and to be bold enough to dream your wildest dream–for us to even be here is a wildest dream.”

The amazing property, which has been featured in credit card and Calvin Klein commercials, is one Dean had his eye on for years as he revealed to AD it was the screen saver on his phone for eight years. In 2019, he and Keys dropped more than $20 million on the futuristic-like mansion. It’s nearly 11,000-square feet and sits atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It boasts 4 bedrooms and six bathrooms.

A few of its many amenities include a home theater, a detached guesthouse, a tunnel leading to a four-car garage, a rooftop with a barbecue area, and a gleaming infinity pool. One look inside and it’s no wonder the couple has held onto this residence.
