As the premiere date for All American Season 4 steadily approaches, many fans hope their burning questions will get answered. In an interview with TVLine, showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll reassured fans the new season will “fill in the blanks” for what happens next.

For example, the season three final ended on a massive cliffhanger. So, the new season will offer an explanation sooner rather than later. “What we can promise the audience is we will fill in the blanks of what happened,” she said. “This is not going to be a season-long guessing game of where things ended up after the cliffhangers. Carroll added, “We will see a ripple effect through a number of characters as they are changed, and their directions pivot – and maybe even life priorities change as a result of the cliffhangers.”

All American Season 4 premieres on Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
