In the third season of All American, the Las Vegas trip caused a monumental shift in The CW series. Aside from Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Simone (Geffri Maya) secretly tying the knot, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) finally realizes he is in love with Olivia. Although the scene marked a pivotal moment for the pair, the kissing scene was tough for actor Samantha Logan to film.

‘All American’ star Samantha Logan explains why she was ‘so nervous’ to kiss her co-star

In a podcast episode of The Hangout, Daniel Ezra, Greta Onieogou, and Samantha Logan sat down to talk about the love triangle between their characters. The actors talked more specifically about the Las Vegas trip, where all three teenagers experienced romantic conflict. Spencer confessed his love for Olivia in one scene, and they shared a kiss.

While the scene cemented Spencer and Olivia’s relationship, actor Samantha Logan found the kissing scene nerve-racking to film. Logan explained why she was “so nervous” to kiss Daniel Ezra. “I got used to kissing Cody [Christian],” she admitted.

Also, the 13 Reasons Why alum revealed that she “hated” how she looked in the kissing scenes. “I watched the Vegas episode and hated how I looked in that scene. I hate watching myself, but I particularly hate how I look in Christmas scenes. I can’t, and it’s cringe.”

In season 3, Olivia and Spencer agreed to be their witnesses during Jordan and Simone’s wedding reception in Las Vegas. While they were reciting their vows, Spencer realized that he was in love with Olivia. In the hotel room, Spencer confessed his love to her.

After they share a kiss, Spencer says, “I love you. I’m not even sure when it happened. Maybe it’s the night I got shot or watched movies with you all summer. Or, maybe it’s been since my first day at Beverly, and I just didn’t realize it. But I know now. I’m in love with you.”

Since Olivia and Spencer took their relationship to the next level, fans can’t get enough of their long-awaited union. In an interview clip posted to the show’s official Twitter page, All American star Samathan Logan opened up about the fan reactions to their relationship.

“The fan reaction has been very passionate,” she said in the 46-second clip. “They are very passionate about Olivia and Spencer. I’m also passionate about [their relationship]. I think they’ve come such a long way since episode one. It’s kind of surreal to see them together and happy.”

Logan continued, “They deserve to be happy. And they deserve to be together. There were definitely a lot of bumps on the way, and neither one of them are perfect. But that’s the whole thing. They’re teenagers, [and] they’re human and imperfect. [But] they love each other.”
