These sisters caught the attention of celebrities like Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Thanks to one YouTube video posted during 2015, Chloe and Halle Bailey rose to stardom, eventually releasing original songs like “Do It” and “Don’t Make it Harder On Me.”
In addition to their music stardom, this sister duo often advocates for plant-based lifestyles, even sharing that they became vegan after being vegetarians for several months. Now based in Los Angeles, these sisters claim it’s easier to find options to eat.
“Eggs and dairy never sat well with me… so it was easy,” Chloe said during an interview with Complex. “When we moved to L.A., it really became easy. So many vegan restaurants and vegan aisles in the grocery store are like heaven for us!”

These sisters are award-winning musicians and also proud vegans, often mentioning it during interviews. During one Instagram live, the sisters talked about life on the road. Chloe said that she was excited to eat when they got to the stadium, “because catering is so good on tour, and good for us vegans.”
While recording a segment for MTV’s Fresh Out, Chloe and Halle Bailey shared one of their favorite vegan smoothie recipes. These performers also advocate for healthier lifestyles among fans, encouraging them to choose plant-based options.

Halle Bailey is cast in Disney’s live-action adaptation of ‘The Little Mermaid’
From the stage to under the sea, the younger sister of Chloe x Halle, Halle Bailey will star in Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid as the title character. As a result, the sisters have been somewhat separated in recent months, as Halle began production on the original musical.
The two take to Instagram to catch up with each other and with fans, chatting on Instagram Live about everything from music to zodiac signs to food. During one of Chloe’s live streams from January 2021, Chloe munched on some snacks while discussing her vegan lifestyle.
