The backlash from critics has continued days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were photographed with Pasadena’s mayor Victor M. Gordo to see the damage caused by the Los Angeles wildfires and meet with residents who had to flee their homes and head to an evacuation center.

While some have praised the duke and duchess for going to the disaster sites to lend a helping hand, others believe the only reason they did so was to generate good publicity for themselves.

Whether the Sussexes were sincere or not, one commentator is so fed up with Harry still trying to do “what royals do” even though he’s in America now and has some scathing remarks for the man who is not her “f****** prince.”

After actor Justine Bateman and others voiced their frustrations about the former working royals and called them “disaster tourists” for visiting the area, journalist Megyn Kelly ripped the pair apart.

During a segment on her show, Kelly didn’t hold back her feelings about Meghan and Harry showing up and getting in front of the cameras.

Kelly opined that the only reason the couple went to Pasadena was “to get their faces back on camera to improve their image. They want people to think well of them … They made sure they got on camera. They made sure their names got in the press and that was the name of the game [for them].”

She then blasted the duke saying: “When you’re actually a member of the royal family Harry and the British population answers to you sort of, they’re your subjects maybe they do need to see you during times of tragedy. [But] you’re in America now and we don’t give a s*** about you. You’re not our f****** prince. You’ll never be king. We hate your wife. Stay at home in your $29 million mansion.”

Columnist goes off about the duchess’s show that was ‘already tone-deaf’ before the fires

Due to the devastating fires and to be sensitive to all the victims, the duchess’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan has been pushed back to March 4.

“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Meghan said in a statement.

But even with a new release date, Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan doesn’t believe too many people will be interested in the Duchess of Sussex’s latest Netflix offering.

“It was vintage Meghan: Verbose, vague, meaningless, and thoroughly unnecessary,” she wrote. “Who cares what Meghan Markle is doing or not doing.” Her new show was “already tone-deaf” before the fires.

Callahan added that while most American families are struggling in the current economy and trying to figure out how to buy groceries, Meghan is “Marie Antionette in a rented mansion with her ladybug cupcakes and long hair hanging over these ostensible edibles. As for who made the call to postpone this turkey? Forgive me if I’m doubtful that Meghan did so unilaterally. More likely to my mind is that Netflix, knowing how damaging the optics would be, pressed pause on this flop-in-waiting.

“But it doesn’t really matter, because I for one am not buying the premise that Meghan much cares about anyone other than herself. And the only thing likely to be cooked in that kitchen is Meghan’s reputation, scorched beyond repair.”
