Amina Buddafly Posts Cryptic Instagram Messages After Peter Gunz Shades Her Rumored New Boo
It looks like Amina Buddafly is back in the dating pool and her ex-husband, Peter Gunz, is not happy about it. Despite his philandering ways during their marriage, Gunz has exhibited jealous behavior previously toward any man Buddafly has been linked to. But this time, Buddafly appears to be unphased.
Amina Buddafly’s rumored new boyfriend is a fitness instructor
A known fitness enthusiast, Buddafly typically shares workout tips, videos, and healthy eating tips. When Showbiz spoke to her in April 2020, the talented singer and musician spoke about her commitment to wellness and her excitement for her new book, Mi Dishes.
“Mi Dishes is a coffee table lifestyle cookbook,” she said. “It’s 280 pages of recipes, lifestyle tips, short personal stories from me, and visuals. I created the 30-day guide for my fans to follow because of the amount of questions I was constantly getting about fitness and food.”
She typically posts her workout videos solo or with her twin sister, but recently, she’s been showing off her new routines with a buff hunk. A quick search of his Instagram page reveals that he goes by the name of Zimzon Zion. Like Buddafly, he works out daily and commits to a healthy living lifestyle.
It appears that Zion is a native of Africa and works as an actor, in addition to fitness training. According to his website, he’s worked as a fitness model for brands like Adidas and Fitness First. His acting and television credits include Bravo’s The New Atlanta.
Zion has a 30-day fitness program that he promotes to his potential clients called “Train Like A Gladiator.” He insists that no equipment is needed, and from the looks of his videos with Buddafly, he’s right. Zion has been using Buddafly as human weights, lifting her as if he were bench-pressing.

While Buddafly’s social media followers are impressed with her new workout buddy’s techniques, Gunz is perturbed. The Shade Room captured a screenshot of a comment about Zion, questioning his sexuality.
“Does he lift his boyfriend like that? Asking for a friend. IJS,” Gunz commented on the video, also tagging his former Love & Hip Hop co-star and real-life friend, Rich Dollaz.

Buddafly responded with eye-rolling emojis. She later added several messages to her Instagram stories, hinting that she cares nothing about Gunz’s feelings.
“2 rules to live by: Don’t hate on nobody and don’t wait on nobody! Read it again!!,” one message read.
“It will never be perfect. Make it work. -Life,” read another.
Buddafly admitted to Showbiz in our Spring interview that she finds it hilarious when Gunz behaves jealously over her anyone she dates. Despite such, she insisted the two remain close friends and that she’s forgiven him for all of the hurt he caused her.
“We are good. I consider him a friend. We co-parent,” she said. “I tell people all the time that out of everyone I’ve been with, I am happy I had children with him. Peter is an amazing person, he’s just not a good partner.”
Apparently, Gunz was so irritated by Buddafly’s videos, he opted to unfollow his ex-wife on Instagram, citing that it made him uncomfortable and that he felt the videos are inappropriate. He said so in a joint Instagram live with Dollaz, and also noted that his adult son, rapper Corey Gunz, also unfollowed his former stepmom. Gunz also beefed with singer Lyfe Jennings on Instagram over Jennings’ rumored romance with Buddafly.
