As with most people, Adams isn’t shy about admiring others who she might find attractive. She’s been candid about working with celebrities such as Henry Cavill who she found nice to look at, and having a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio before working with him. But this trait isn’t anything new to Adams, who shared this has always been a part of her personality.

“I’ve worked with some of the most charming, beautiful men,” she told Elle. “I never stopped being boy crazy. I was boy crazy in kindergarten. I was always aware of boys. And it’s basically still the kindergarten girl: ‘Oh, he’s cute, oooooh!’”

Her current husband, Darren Le Gallo, is already aware of her nature. But Adams asserted that her husband isn’t the jealous type.

“He’s been on location when I’m doing love scenes, and he never comes to set. He’s not, like, looking around,” she said. “He’s very comfortable, and that’s really admirable. We have trust. It’s important. It’s a rare and wonderful quality.”

Amy Adams’ ‘Miss Pettigrew’ co-star had to leave the set because she kept admiring him

Adams had a starring role in the 2008 period film Miss Pettigrew, where she acted alongside Frances McDormand and Lee Pace. Pace was cast as the Arrival star’s lover, and left quite the impression on his on-screen romance partner. But the impression was so strong that the film’s director eventually had to remove Pace off the set.

“Lee wasn’t working that day, so he was just lounging. He’s 6’4, so he’s a lot of boy, and he was wearing cowboy boots,” Adams recalled.

When Pettigrew director Bharat Nalluri caught Adams staring at Pace, Adams was more than embarrassed by the incident.

“I was kind of staring at him, because he painted such a picture, and the director came over, and I was completely in this land of admiring Lee,” she continued. “And Bharat goes over and tells him, `Can you leave the set? Amy’s distracted by your masculinity.’ I was mortified. But he’s so much fun, too. He’s got such a zest for life. He’s a really good actor. So that’s my gush about Lee Pace. I hope I’m not blushing. My boyfriend will understand. He knows who his girlfriend is.”

Despite being celebrities themselves, many stars have crushes on some of their fellow actors. Adams is no different. There’s one actor in particular who Adams has yet to work with that she finds interesting.

“Colin Farrell is my cinematic crush,” Adams shared to W Magazine.

She asserted that one of the reasons she maintained her crush on Farrell was because she hadn’t worked with him yet.

“So, the fact that I haven’t worked with Colin and I haven’t really spent a lot of time with him still allows him to be this perfect working-class kind of Irishman, and, like, really honest and funny, and I kind of have this whole vision of who he is,” she added.
