Amy Duggar King Confirms She’s No Longer on ‘Speaking Terms’ With Jim Bob Duggar During Josh Duggar’s Sentencing
Amy Duggar King is at odds with her famous family. That comes as no surprise to Duggar family followers. The mother of one and small business owner has not been shy about her feelings in the weeks leading up to Josh Duggar’s sentencing on two child pornography charges. She did drop a bit of a bombshell, though. She revealed that she is no longer on speaking terms with Jim Bob Duggar, and she’s not the only one.
Amy Duggar King revealed that she is not on speaking terms with Jim Bob Duggar during Josh Duggar’s sentencing
Amy Duggar King, the Duggar family’s rebellious cousin, sat down to speak with the U.S. Sun about Josh Duggar’s sentencing. Amy didn’t mince words, speaking openly about her feelings about her famous family and just how much time she hopes her disgraced cousin spends behind bars. During the interview, she told the publication that she and her uncle, Jim Bob Duggar, are no longer on speaking terms. The revelation is new but not entirely unexpected. It doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon, either.
In the days leading up to Josh Duggar’s sentencing, Amy Duggar King has spoken about her cousin quite a bit. First, she noted that something about Josh makes her “skin crawl.” Later, she criticized both Michelle Duggar and Anna Duggar for their continued support of Josh.
More recently, she published an open letter imploring Anna to leave Josh for her children’s protection. The open letter was liked by one of Anna’s siblings. Amy is talking a lot about the Duggars, but she’s mostly left her mother out of it.
Amy did not share whether her mother, Deanna Duggar, is currently speaking with the family. Deanna is Jim Bob’s only sibling. She and Amy have been outspoken about what happened inside the Duggar family home. Anna and Deanna both claim Jim Bob and Michelle told them a different story about Josh molesting his siblings. They were also largely kept in the dark ahead of his child pornography arrest.
Jill Dillard outlined her troubled relationship with her father in court documents
Amy isn’t speaking to Jim Bob Duggar, and it sounds like Jill Dillard isn’t talking to him either. In recently released court documents, Jill outlined how she and her husband, Derick Dillard, ran into issues with Jim Bob following their decision to leave Counting On. According to court records, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar had problems with several choices the Dillard family made.
Jill went on to call her father “verbally abusive” and revealed that they have very little communication. She testified that she only speaks to Jim Bob in a family group text. Jill’s testimony only confirmed what Duggar family followers had long suspected about Jim Bob Duggar.
Jill was one of four sisters molested by Josh Duggar when they were all minors. She appeared at the courthouse during Josh Duggar’s trial but has opted not to attend the sentencing hearing. Jill is currently expecting her third child.
