Chris Noth’s wife, Tara Wilson, was spotted crying in Los Angeles without her wedding ring

On Jan. 13, Page Six reported that Chris Noth’s wife, Tara Wilson, was seen crying in her car in Los Angeles. She was not wearing her wedding ring.

This report came weeks after Noth was spotted talking a walk by himself in New York on Christmas day (per Daily Mail). So it appears that the couple is taking some time apart following the accusations against Noth that recently surfaced.

On Dec. 16, The Hollywood Reporter published the stories of two women who accused Noth of sexual assault. Since the story came out, several more women have come forward with allegations against the actor.

Noth has lost his agent, a $12 million tequila deal, his role in The Equalizer, and more in the aftermath of the accusations.

Chris Noth denied the sexual assault allegations but admitted to cheating on his wife Tara Wilson

Noth’s first two accusers claimed the alleged incidents happened in LA in 2004 and New York in 2015. At the time of the second alleged assault, Noth was married to Tara Wilson, and they had their first child.

Although Noth denied the allegations in a statement, he said that his encounters with the women were consensual, meaning he admitted to cheating on Wilson.

“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false,” Noth told Us Weekly on the day The Hollywood Reporter story came out. “These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross.”

Noth added, “The encounters were consensual.” He continued to question his accusers’ motives. “It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

A source who knows Noth and Wilson told Page Six, “The problem is that even if Chris did not do what these women said he did, he still had some kind of sexual encounter with them and he cheated on Tara. That is hard to come to terms with.”

Previous reports revealed that the ‘And Just Like That…’ star’s wife was ‘not doing well’ after his sexual assault accusations

In the Hollywood Reporter article, one of Noth’s accusers said she mentioned his wife and child during their encounter. “He said marriage is a sham,” the woman claimed. “Monogamy is not real.”

A long-time friend of Noth and his wife told The Sun that Wilson is “very upset” and “not doing well” after the accusations. “He may be non-monogamous, we have established that his wife didn’t know,” the friend said. “If anything, he is guilty of that.”

Noth has hired attorney Andrew Brettler, who has represented many other celebrities accused of similar acts, including Prince Andrew, Armie Hammer, Bryan Singer, Chris D’Elia, and Ryan Adams.
