Bravo may be preparing to flip the table on The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast. On the July 29 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Housewives creator dropped a bombshell when he teased that a reboot could be in the works for the troubled reality series.

Andy Cohen hints big changes could be coming for ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’

Cohen seemed to spill the beans on the future of RHONJ while chatting with a frustrated caller on his radio show, Andy Cohen Live

“Well, I mean, have you heard that we’re gonna do big changes to the show?” he said.

As the woman continued to complain about stale storylines and boring cast members, a tired-sounding Cohen cut in.

“Alright, well yes, we are rebooting the show. We’re going to reboot it. We’re going to do something different,” he said.

As the woman continued to complain that Teresa Giudice was the only current cast member delivering the drama, Cohen replied that “we’re gonna see what we do.”

“We’ll see,” he said. “I don’t know. Maybe just all fresh faces? Maybe. We’ll see.”

It’s not clear if Cohen was serious about an RHONJ reboot or merely trying to placate an annoyed fan. An insider who spoke to People said that “nothing has been decided yet” regarding the show’s future.

Many RHONJ would agreed that the show is in desperate need of an overhaul. The 14th season was marked by dramatic divides between the cast. Giudice’s ongoing feud with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga hit a new low point, with the pair completely refusing to film together. Meanwhile, other cast members also fell out. The tension was so bad that Bravo opted to cancel the season 14 reunion.

“I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other,” Cohen said in the June 4 episode of his radio show. “That’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”

Even some of the show’s stars agree that a shakeup is probably necessary.

“[It’s] time for a change,” Gorga said on the July 28 episode of Watch What Happens Live. “I do think the change kind of means some people are gonna go, maybe everyone’s gonna go. So I think we’re all just trying to do our best to try and figure out what’s gonna happen and realize that it is realistic that things might change.”

While Gorga sounds like she might be ready to move on, Giudice says she won’t leave unless Bravo shows her the door.

“No, I’m not leaving,” she recently said during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark (via EW). “I started the show. When Bravo wants me to leave, that’s when I’ll leave.”
