Angelina Pivarnick and Chris Larangeira’s Relationship Timeline From 2020 Until Now
Angelina Pivarnick and Chris Larangeira got married in November 2019. Their nuptials were part of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3. Shortly after that, the Jersey Shore cast began to notice “trouble in paradise.”

Chris Larangeira moved out of Angelina Pivarnick’s house at the end of 2020
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 premiered on June 3, 2021. In the June 10 episode, Angelina revealed Chris moved back in with his mother while she was taking Christmas decorations down. This means Chris moved out sometime around the holiday season 2020.
In the episode, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino asks if they were doing couples therapy. Angelina said Chris’ response was always, “You need therapy.” At that point, Angelina and Chris both hired lawyers and were “headed for divorce,” according to Mike.
Chris allegedly hung out with a 22-year-old
Speaking to Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Angelina claimed Chris spent 11 hours and 27 minutes in a hotel room with a 22-year-old woman. How did she know this? She installed a tracking system on his car. Since this clip is from the same episode, this likely took place sometime at the end of 2020 or early 2021.
Chris claimed nothing happened in the room. However, Angelina and Jenni presumed he was “guilty” of something.
Chris Larangeira moved back in a month later
One month after moving in with his mom, Chris returned home. Angelina noted his fully grown beard and his “jacked” appearance. As Angelina told the cameras: “Damn, he looks pretty good. Like he’s got a beard, that’s hot.”
Chris arrived with a suitcase in tow, seemingly ready to stay for a while. The two discussed being lonely without each other and Angelina detailed how her father abandoned her as a child. “I want to be able to say we tried to work on our marriage, at least,” she told Chris. The two agreed to go to therapy together.
Angelina met with divorce lawyer Vikki Ziegler in the ‘JSFV’ Season 5 premiere
In the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 5 premiere, Angelina mentioned wanting to “protect herself” if she and Chris separated. With the help of Jenni, she visited celebrity divorce lawyer Vikki Ziegler. At the suggestion of Jenni, Angelina decided if she and Chris couldn’t “fix” their marriage by their 2021 anniversary, Angelina would move forward with the divorce she filed for in January of that year.
Angelina and Chris made strides with a sex therapist in ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’
Deena Cortese organized a day out on a mansion boat during their trip to Florida. Their day on the water included a session with a sex therapist, who helped Angelina and Chris address their struggle to communicate within their relationship.
Angelina talked about her childhood abandonment and how it impacts her life today, while Chris admitted feeling secondary to Angelina’s friends and family. The episode made it seem like the couple was going to last, but not long after, the news broke of Chris filing for divorce.

A year after Angelina filed but never served him the papers, Chris filed for divorce in New Jersey on Jan. 22, 2022 (via The Sun). Angelina and Chris were both outspoken about their separation on social media at first but have been quiet, likely to protect themselves legally.
