Over the weekend, the MTV Movie & TV Awards took place. Stars from 2020’s best movies, scripted series, and reality TV shows gathered to find out which moments, celebrities, shows, and movies MTV fans liked best.
Behind the scenes, some interesting Jersey Shore: Family Vacation developments were going on. According to Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley are “friends” once again.
How to watch the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted
There’s still more of the MTV Movie & TV Awards for fans! The “Unscripted” version of the ceremony will recognize “TV’s most side-splitting, drama-filled moments.” Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the unscripted version of the awards is a first for MTV.
Following the winners in movies and scripted television series last night (hosted by Leslie Jones) the “unscripted” MTV special airs tonight — May 17. The show starts at 9 PM EST. Tune in live so you don’t miss any outrageous moments or stream through the MTV app, Hulu, or YouTube.
Nicole Polizzi and Jenni’ JWoww’ Farley are friendly with Angelina Pivarnick again
Since the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted celebrates the best in reality TV, some of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast was in attendance, including Farley, Pivarnick, and Polizzi. According to Guadagnino’s Instagram Stories, the trio hung out together after the awards ceremony wrapped filming.
“See you guys, what you see on reality TV is fake,” Guadagnino said in a video of Pivarnick and Farley chatting by a fire. “They’re friends.” In another Instagram Stories, Pivarnick and Polizzi were sipping cocktails.
Many Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans are glad to see all of the roommates move on. After the drama at Pivarnick’s 2019 wedding and the aftermath, “Snooki” decided to step down from the show. But now, all of that has changed. Most fans are counting down the days until the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs on MTV.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will return with new episodes on June 3. On May 11, Polizzi shocked fans with a big announcement. “I’M BACK, B*TCHES!!!” she tweeted. “I’m bringing the party back when #JSFamilyVacation returns Jerzday, June 3 on #MTV.”
While it’s nice to see Farley, Polizzi, and Pivarnick getting along, many fans want more of the story. Back in March 2021, Polizzi and Pivarnick were spotted eating lunch together. According to reports, cameras were there and the restaurant was lit for television.
MTV will likely feature this outing in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4B. Is this when Polizzi and Pivarnick squashed their beef? How did it all go down? Those questions and more will likely be answered in new episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
But what else can fans expect? According to the trailer, there’s going to be a lot of joy in the latter half of season 4, including a gender reveal for Baby Situation and a talent show.
